As I said, I've saved rally 4's posts. He already lied when he said he warned everyone that sti would be canceled. I'll be back again in 23 and 24 model years to say i told you so just like every other instance of my perfect track record on this site. At this point there are two knowns***8230;I'll continue to be despised and I'll continue to be right.

I never lied. I essentially said the Sti would have the EJ or die off.

I have zero reason to sit here and waste my time making up stories. Iím a Subaru enthusiast and currently own a 2005 STI, and figured it would be nice to give some of the people who still use this website and have skin in the Subaru game some insight as to what the f happened.

Sounds like your upset because you, as a dealer or employee of one, donít have 1/10th of the information I do with whatís going on @ Subaru.

So all you are saying is you can't trust this information. But the majority of us know there is some truth in all of this, especially with the lack of sales YoY. Subaru's are still very much like Legos, where they share a lot of parts and the chips as well. Which means Subaru has had several years to get the chips in order, but that is not the reason for poor sales. They are sitting on lots longer than anticipated. The BRZ has no issue selling, but the WRX does. This is an issue and rumors are going to run rampant when YoY sales are down nearly 60%.

You need to stop discrediting a rumor, when it is in fact a rumor. It doesn't have to be taken personally or at face value. Just sit back and the tea leaves will sort themselves out.

My validation will be when the next two model years debut. Also, 22 WRX sales will be down because the car didn't get production going until March after the 21 stopped production in September. Then there was the lag on getting cars from Japan to the Us. On top of that, the cvt production was delayed. On top of that, STI is pulled out of those numbers. The rumor is out there. I'm simply telling you on the record it's false. You can believe me or not.

You don't see it because you don't know. I do. And I'm volunteering you the truth. We've done this dance so many times. I say something unpopular. Everyone piles on, I wait, I get validated, we move on, wash, rinse, repeat

I'm responding with the truth. Neither of us is posting proof. The difference is I've not been wrong on any of these matters, and you've posted a significant lie already in that you warned the community Sti was being canceled. The EJ was never considered for the VB in any form.

Anyone referring to SBR as SoJ isnít in any position of know. Also, CT is SNE, not SOA. Itís very clear to me if you are talking to someone, they donít know ***** or they are misleading you. Itís comical

Aren't you the one who said Subaru was going to offer a hatchback and a dual clutch transmission? Glass houses.

Since I have been at my retailer, I do believe I've seen info coming out of SNE AND SDC before. They are independents. Info could flow more freely from them than SOA. Shoot. They used to option the cars the way they wanted. Small things. Then, for what I can tell, about 12-ish years ago they decided to just sell all the same.

What does living in CT have to do with anything anyway. I live in TN and have been privy to info.

I believe this to be true.

I also assume that development for the STI was fairly close to complete but it had reached a point where it was no longer economically feasible to continue. This was unexpected. Subaru left way, way too much money on the table by not supplying "last chance" sales of the VA STI.

This leads me to believe that we'll see meaningful options added to the VB WRX sooner than normal product cycles would allow. The most obvious example of this could be the electronically controlled dampers offered on the WRX GT. Product planning may have had these as standard on a VB STI which would not have offered the SPT.

Nobody cares if you are right, only how you act. You act no different than any other internet troll who only cars about being right.

At this point, if you refuse to tell us (or can't) who you are, what you do for a living, and where you get your sources of information, you should just **** off and do something else more productive in your spare time.

Man, I don't know which thread you said those things. So you didn't say that or hint at that? When Justy says stuff like that, he eats popcorn. So I know he didn't say it. I don't take much stock in what people speculate about (as I have clearly stated in this thread), but I do with you and Justy because both of you have sources or are linked in somehow.

I'll leave this here because round fenders and frothing mouths.

Iíd expect the same, timing will be the question. Iíd expect later rather than sooner.

I parked my CWP 15 wrx next to a brand new one about a week ago. The new ceramic white color is great, but making the flares gloss black isn't going to help unless you're buying a black car. Looking at the two cars next to each other really did it for me. The black molding and rear bumper extension have to go. I've been driving a wrx since 02 but I'm not the least bit interested in the new one. If the mileage were a little better and there was a hatch I probably would have bought one.

Me being in CT doesnít mean anything. The HQ is in NJ. I have zero contacts within the New England branch.

SO is trolling. The STI was going to have the EJ. The STI mule had the EJ. No plans of any other engine in the proposed car.

The next model year or two will be an exciting one now. I hope you will apologize for all out flaming me on a thread when I am relaying information from someone who has over 25 years in.

You on the other hand have zero idea what youíre talking about. Sadly enough, it seems like your upset someone knows more than you about these cars. Very immature.

This is part of the why. But like I said, info platforms on the internet has moved on. This site should be all about speculation. SOA doesn't have a presence here anymore AFAIK.

@SOdealer by the way, each production 22 WRX shows the STI pretty much deep into production by the time the pulled the plug. Between and cup holder and the shifter, thereís a ďcoin trayĒ

This is where the DCCD controller was to be placed. If you take the tray out, it has the same mounting clips as a VA STI DCCD. It was going to be a plug and play of the EH/DCCD system from the last car.

Yeah I've seen the video with the DCCD inlay swap from the VA. Keeping the STI transmission would've been fine. Keeping the STI engine, not so much.

Is that a suggestion that there will be an STI not based upon an "Impreza"?

SOA put out a press release fully stating there will not be an STI this generation and specifically not ICE. I was asked if I would apologize if rally 4 was right. What I'd like is for everyone that is ****ting on me for posting the truth to apologize when reality sets in. Will be interesting to see if rally 4 will even show his face then.
