My 350awhp FA WRX had no transmission upgrades. Limited sample size but I had no issues for 11k (then flood blah blah I feel like I always talk about that here). Also, I never clutch dumped and the only time I gave it all beans in 1st was from a dig when the clutch engaged and it was wet out. I beat the piss out of it on the highway though, obviously different.

Just because EVs don’t usually have grilles, doesn’t mean every OEM needs to put massive bass-mouth grille’s on their gas cars as some sort of passive aggressive response. Audi has a pass for historical reasons.

For a hatch/sedan? It’s a huge nose. Look at the new Crosstrek it’s massive.

Edit: Before I hear about Alfa, the Scudetto and trilobo grilles are historical and not just a massive opening to mimics trucks.

Yea the Predator face is huge, but it’s been around for awhile now. I’ve been noticing for the past two years or so that every gas car’s grille is getting bigger and bigger. Even the VB WRX.

I think it’s to connect with Truck/SUV buyers who want everything bigger, and as a protest against EVs (no, or fake grille).

I like that the moustache coming from the logo, doesn't end in the headlight as it happens on the crosstrek.

Solid tire so far with no issues. Put them on a couple years ago, but haven't had to go driving in the snow because WFH. Now, I'm in the office, so should have a good impression on them in the winter time driving. IN the wet? The siping is fantastic.

In summer, they have been good. Not the quietest due to the sorta aggressive tread pattern, but very grippy. I haven't done any autoxing on them, so I haven't heard them at their limit, meaning I also haven't heard them make a peep when pushing them either. May be a tire that they only make a sound when you're over the limit and it's too late, but I don't know because I haven't been there either. But like I said, I can take corners better in this car than the 2.5rS, that is probably because of the active torque vectoring, along with actually having TC/SC too... but it just goes and sticks.

It represents the unpainted fenders that protect the car from the harsh elements of adventurous journeys through supermarket parking lots.

The logo is just RS and not 2.5RS. So, the 2.5 from the Crosstrek wont be used, maybe the CB18 will be used instead. And RS1.8 does not sound that good.

It's gotta be the 2.4 from the BRZ - that's the closest thing Subaru has to the spirit of the original RS, right?
