GTi is street legal. It's a rally car at heart.

Back to my corner I go!

If the GTi ever goes rallying, I can rent a van and trailer.

PS - bad joke.

Does anyone have STI rear axles laying around?

Long story short:
I swapped a 6 speed into my wagon. I forgot my r160 axles wouldn't work on my r180. I sold my r160 and now my car is sitting.
The worst part is, im pretty sure I made this mistake 2 years ago on the black car, which is why my dad went to brembo'd hubs immediately following the swap.

Anyone interested in an old Brighton with a cage? Probably not going to pass any rally or road racing certifications for cage building, but it'll keep you safe if you happen to try playing rally driver in the UP and hit a tree.

Owner hasn't done anything with it in several years and will be deploying to Afghanistan for a year sometime in the next few weeks. He sort of wants me to store it in my garage and work on it, but I have no room and probably not a lot of time or desire to play with it.

There is a JDM EJ20G in it, but it needs a custom wiring harness before anything can run. Probably need $1000 worth of body work to reattach the front bumper beam and bumper. Has a brand new, never used 16G turbo (modified by Deadbolt), 5spd trans, JDM rear diff, '07 WRX 4/2-pot brakes, WRX pedal assy, WRX master cylinder and brake booster, sti steering rack, and some other odds and ends.

Also potentially for sale is a 2000? Black RS coupe with JDM v8 STi swap.

I have no room already. GTi, Mazdaspeed6, wheels for trucks/cars, lawn mower, tools and a broken transfer case.

This thought crossed my mind. Ben mentioned he'd be coming back to MI sometime this spring. Figured we'd have a BBQ or some sort of outing when he's in town. Might try to talk him into driving the miotter back to WA .

As much as I'd like to finish the "rally car" and turn it into some kind of rallycross or track toy I don't have the money. I need to find money to head to Thailand with Angie this fall. Selling Miata might almost pay for the plane tickets.
