More pictures when I get it actually dirty. (not rainy dirty)

Overall I have about 2 inches of lift. WOOHOO!!!

Maybe its time to put out there that I want to find an 09/10 Outback or a Forrester suspension to further the monster I'm going to create.
I'm doing the same thing you are. I have 2010 Forester struts/springs, trailing arms, subframe spacers and steering knuckle. As soon as I get my SS 1" lift kit I'm gonna put it on all at once. You need all those forester parts to get the suspension geometry back to normal and the rear wheels centered in the wheel well. Then of course an alignment. Good luck with yours, it looks good so far

I know I will need all those bits. I'm going to use this setup for a little bit because it still uses the same WRX geometry. Sure the speedo is off a little bit but that's what GPS's are for.

I'm surprised how much lift I got just from the wheels and tires. I kinda like it and don't know if I even need the 1" lift spacers. Body lift and suspension lift are 2 separate demons.

you can't actually see the headlight. That light you are referring to is part of a hood pod.

Well i figured out my lift for the legacy im picking up.

outback struts and springs
1" subtle solutions lift kit
adj trailing arms
adj lateral links

Then i will be gutting the back half of the interior and welding in a cage, building my own divider(beatrush style) then im going to worry about making more power from the anemic 2.2L

I took my 03 wrx wagon in to subaru for a tranny rebuild and while it was there I was planning to have them install the 04 FXT suspension I picked up. The tech called me today and said that the suspension appears to be too long. I am somewhat confused by this because there are numerous people on here with the same setup. Any ideas?

Agreed. The suspension is "too long" because it lifts the car a few inches.

it takes some work but they will fit. I have FXT suspension under my 02 sedan. Having the forester trailing arm mount helps especially with tire fitment. If you have a set of tools you can do it in your driveway. You will need 4 jackstands, 2 jacks and a hammer.

^^^ Want! Is it dirty or was it the idea to give it a "weathered" look? Either way I like it alot.

well i painted it myself so its dirty because im too lazy to wash it and i like dirty subys. an upside is that the weathered look makes it so you cant seem the blemishes in the paint

Had a little fun hitting the mud today.
My setup is: 07 forester xt struts with pinks and saggy butt spacers.

Normally I would agree but it's not some shop it's a Subaru dealer and the guy is an ASE cert mechanic. He has dOne work for me in the past and it's been top notch. He said he got it to fit but the bottom of the strut was touching the cv boot.

Yeah I can do the work myself, I normally fo but I figured I would have him throw them on while he had it on the lift.

WOOT! Thanks distorto! Had a great time, now I get to look for more trails we can go on.

Those are 215/65/16 General Grabber AT2's. Mounted on Saab wheels.

They are extremely good in the mud. Now a trip to the snow might be in order.
