Default Thinking about mixing gear oils in my STi

Hey guys,
I have read a few threads about gear oils and people have came up with mixed reviews. I was wondering, I know that subaru recommends a GL-5 based lube for the car but I heard that it can wear out the syncros more. I was thinking about doing redline 75-90NS and a 1-2 quart mixure of MT-90 by redline, is that okay? And also can I mix synthetic with conventional valvoline or penzoil with the redline synthetic 75-90NS or MT90? Another combination I Was thinking is 3/4 valvoline 75-90 like the dealer uses with a quart of penzoil syncromesh fluid.

PLease advise
thanks

Search the transmission forum for syncromesh cocktail. Lots of discussion about doing something very similar. Draw your own conclusions

The 6MT isn't picky with regard to tranny fluid. Dont mix like the 5MT guys, use what your owner's manual says. Regular or synthetic, it doesn't matter.
