I can walk in and get a WRX under MSRP, unlike any other of its competitors.
People were commenting when they were seeing "plenty" on lots before and sales weren't like this. My comment to that was they weren't sending them out "equally". Maybe last month they allocated them better and sales increased accordingly. Question now would be how many are left on lots. If there is few, then they just had a spurt of sales last month? If it's a lot, then sales had a good increase. Just not phenomenal like, say, the Forester increase? It's certainly going to be a month to month thing until we see a trend.

AWD cars always sell better in the winter, especially Subarus.

I can't fault Subaru for not making enough of these, unlike the BRZ and the competition. Outside of Challengers and Chargers, it seems like the WRX is the only performance model car getting built in sufficient numbers to satisfy demand.

I get the impression a lot of other performance models are being intentionally produced in insufficient quantities... Perhaps as an attempt to kill the models off all together.

Says the person who has not driven and has not bought the new WRX.

Subaru focus groups were right all along. Owners did want a raised Crosstrek Sedan.

Long live the WRX!
