V7 seats sit higher than stock bugeye seats and the passenger seat is rather high, so if you are taller go for getting the adjustment.

You can swap the height adjustment over, but it takes more than a V8 seat swap to do it correctly. There is some custom fabrication that needs to be done to the seat covers, but it's just some sewing covers together to cover the changes that have been made.

I don't remember exactly what I did (as it has been a couple years now), but you will need a set of bugeye seats as a donor. I took both sets of seats apart and the seats are so similar you will be able to tell what parts need to be replaced with USDM parts to give you height adjust on the drivers side.

On another swap related topic, anyone want a set of sedan rear quarters? Located in CO, PM if interested.

That is an easy way to stop your $350 jdm fogs from being destroyed , people would pay for that

if I could nail a template down enough and find enough of the supplies I’d happily do it but the work involved would probably run the cost up and would need finishing touches to each specific car. the supplies alone could be had for about 30 bucks all together.

I hope to see you on the bayside route one night. The driving lights look killer. I have created a c1 style loop around prov up to boston and back. I run it almost every weekend.

You know, I discovered your project thread (and the model of headlights) right after posting my question lol.

Well, while I'm here, might as well post a photo of the wagon! This is before I installed my obligatory RallyArmor UR mudflaps.

So I decided to pull the livery cause it was peeling and it led to a 12-15 hour detailing adventure.

I used all Chemical Guys products and it turned out pretty great

Cleaned with their Citrus Cleaner
Clay Bar kit
Concours Wax kit

Been putting a ton of hours into this thing lately. Finally picked up a Cusco power brace... It's getting there. Just needs bodywork and a six speed, neither of which will probably ever happen.
