OMGHi2U Hampton Roads: Clark Turner Dyno Tuning Saturday June 7th.

Well, I set up some more festivities for the weekend of the big Perry Meet. Clark Turner should be coming to Hampton Roads on June 7th to do dyno tuning at All Aspects in Chesapeake. If you don't know who Clark Turner is, suffice it to say that you are either new or have had your head buried in the sand.

This is the initial post! I will verify the below information is right and add info such as dyno time cost, extra hours, extra days, etc. and make changes below. All tuning questions should be sent directly to www.clarkturner.com for him to answer.

What can he tune?

COBB
Ecutek
Open Source
UTEC
Hydra
Link
Plus just about any standalone on the market

What will it cost me?

$200/hour + dyno fees

How much for a normal tune?

Usually one hour, with multi-map set-ups running two hours.

Who and when do I pay?

You pay Clark directly via a $75 deposit (contact him for payment methods). Payment in full after the tune and you will pay the dyno fees to Kienan, the shop owner. Dyno fees are $100/hour.

Where is All Aspects Motorsports?

136 Tilden Ave, Chesapeake, VA 23320

Are these the only times?

No. Both the shop and Clark are flexible, so if there is a need earlier or later times can be arranged.

Looking forward to this.

06 WRX maps got a huge update to the throttle maps and a special fix for the engine surging. This surge happens at low rpm cruise. Stock cars do it and tuned cars do it. No more.. I spent 7 hours total now working with 06 WRX's in the last 2 weeks.

07WRXs get new throttle maps and boost control updates.

07 STI's have big time updates to my files including new throttle maps, Cam map and timing map/ system updates. Smoother power and better drivability.

04-05 STI maps got an update to the CAM map and Timing system. I am getting big power out of older STI's now by applying what I have learned over the last year.

You can paypal me the $75 deposit at [email protected]

Big Ron can you link this to the meet thread?

PS...DAMN YOU RON

Clark...can you possibly clarify...is that tuning based on OS or Cobb (the stock 06 surge issue)? I might be interested but if its using an AP...I'm shot out.

THe 06WRX issue is one that happens on all forms of flashes including the stock rom and stock car. ITs not as noticable on the stock car. I can apply the fixes to open or cobb and even ecutek flashes. If you have a utec then I can flash the fix to the stock ecu and then tune the utec.

Gotcha.
I'm stock...like 100% stock. But that surge drives me mad in the summertime (seems to get worse when its hot).
But if it works with OS...allow me to crunch the numbers.

Thanks to you Clark, and to Kienan and Ron as well.

I have had communication issues that I need to apoligize about. I have purchased a new phone with email capability and I have reset my inbox. Please use [email protected] for email. Or call my Cell if you need to speak with me.

I want to start adding people on the list so we can get a good deal on the plane flights out. I am really looking forward to this trip. I am going to have Dave From MSPT out with me on this trip. This makes two of the best SUbaru tuners both tuning your car for the same price. You will end up with a beast. I have alot of new maps and map updates that I think everyone will be happy with.

What sort of gains would one see going from a typical stage 2 to your updated maps for an '05? Thanks.

Please add me to the list. I would like to get re-tuned. I will have put some new parts on since my last tune and I think she's due.
