2009 STI Rotated ETS Turbo Kit 6266 - 522 @ 28psi on 93 octane
Ambient Temp: approx 40
Elevation: sea level Tires: stock Car: 2009 STI Tuner: Dave Brown from Performance Auto Solutions Dyno Info: Dyno Dynamics @ 1.15CF Transmission: Stock 6sp Gear: 4th Peak HP: 522 Baseline hp/tq for a stock on same dyno: 230ish Target Boost: 28psi Target AFR: 11.5 Fuel: 93 octane We have been doing a build on a customers car over the past couple months, which we finally finished. We had Dave Brown from Performance Auto Solutions come down to work his magic on it with Cobb's new speed density software. You can see details of the build here http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2248405 Engine (bottom end) EJ257 Nitride Crankshaft Manley 8.5:1 Pistons Manley Turbo Tuff I Beam Rods ARP Headstuds ACL Race Bearings New 11mm Oil Pump New OEM Oil Cooler (always replace these on blown engines) Denso IKH24 Spark Plugs (2 steps colder) Heads GSC Beehive Springs/Retainers GSC S2 Camshafts Supertech Inconel Valves Cosworth Head Gaskets .78mm Torque Solution Air Pump Delete Grimmspeed TGV deletes Fueling Agency Power Fuel Rails Fuel Injector Clinic 1100cc top feed injectors Full Blown Motorsports 340LPH Fuel Pump Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator + Fuel Pressure Gauge Turbo/Exhaust Extreme Turbo Systems Rotated Turbo Kit - V-band up-pipe/V-band Downpipe Extreme Turbo Systems FMIC Precision Turbo 6266 CEA Ball Bearing V-Band Inlet/Outlet .82 A/R Tial 44 MV-R Wastegate Tial Q Blow Off Valve HKS Equal Length Headers Invidia Q300 Cat-Back Driveline Torque Solutions Pitch Stop Mount ACT Heavy Duty Clutch - 6 Puck Sprung Disc ACT Streetlite Flywheel Misc. Crawford V2 Air Oil Separator SMY Dual Gauge Cluster AEM Boost Gauge AEM UEGO Wideband Hallman Pro Manual Boost Controller Cobb Accessport V2 with speed density - Tune by Dave Brown from PAS The car made 522whp @ 28psi on 93 octane, and 505whp @ 26psi on 93 octane. Therefore it has met its goal of a 500whp+ pump gas daily driver. The car is very fun to drive on the street to say the least. It is a shame that we did not get to push things into the 30psi+ range on better fuel. We have another project that will be done in the next month or so that will give us that opportunity with the same turbocharger. Dyno video Joe from www.IvyLeagueEast.com put together for us Dyno Chart (dyno dynamics @ 1.15 correction factor) Many thanks to Michael @ ETS for helping us with the turbo kit and intercooler setup, Jesse and Tom @ Manley for the sweet internals, Greg @ GSC for the badass valvetrain, Dave @ Head Games motorworks for the valve job, Dave Brown for the killer tune, and Cobb for letting us use the speed density software.

What made you pick the GSC S2 cams? Would the S1's of held you back any? Just pondering for my build this spring on 2.0l heads.

I have a car that will be done pretty soon with GSC S3's + ported heads + sleeves + AEM EMS, the same turbo and race gas. Shooting for close to 700whp. When selecting engine parts just be honest with the intended use. You cannot go wrong with the GSC cams S1, S2, or S3. They are top of the line. |

^ especially from the Evo power levels to ours. Crazy how they usually make so much more....seems the big dog Subaru ppl are catching up though. I guess research and development and new parts on the market are helping.

Why does it say it's a 08 sti in the video and a 09 sti in the OP? Nevertheless, thats a beautiful car and a beast!

Evo guys buy cams for their turbo choice(again, cams are easier and quicker to change than subi), that helps them a lot and they can rev higher and with their ve at higher rpm it allows the torque curve to more suit that high rpm with a big turbo than us so that helps achieve the better numbers per turbo imho. This is why I want people to test 2 smaller turbos on an STi, like 2 vf39's with our ve would make a extremely quick et'ing car. I don't think a 4g63 can make more power per say, well it can for a single turbo big turbo car as for the reasons I stated above, yes they keep blocks together so they test at higher hp than us... Most evo 35r cars with the same fuel make
~ the same what a STi guy does with a 35r. Just saying... |

s2's or 3's on with build would have surely made more power. My s3's are beast mode once you put the wood to it. im sure you lose midrange with some that big though. and damn thats alot of power ^. and to sweet to do 28 psi on 93!

as for the evo stuff....i think if we had a little more block strength and we ran their boost levels more we would be in the ballpark. They are more efficient but we are catching up with time...
