All models starting with the 2011 WRX and STi models which will premier at the New York Auto Show this month will come standard with Subaru's exclusive Recaro seats with built in port-o-potty functionality. The seats which are called BMI (pictured below) will also be available as genuine SUbaru parts for customers wishing to upgrade.

"Subaru has recognized for years that our drivers enjoy driving our vehicles so much that they often forget to stop to use a restroom which results in expensive messes and wasted time not being behind the wheel" said Tim Colbeck, senior vice president of sales for Subaru of America. "Adding such practical features allows us to continue to add to add additional value on top of our already strong core strengths, producing durable, safe and fun-to-drive vehicles."

"Subaru of America continues to outperform the market on the strength of our strong product line-up and committed dealer body," said Thomas J. Doll, executive vice president and COO, Subaru of America, Inc. "Our sales are a tribute to the quality and value that our products represent in the market."
