Hey Guys, it was good to meet everyone!

A review of the install process for the springs is that the 1st one takes forever, then after that it seems to go quite well.

Eric, thanks for being such a big part of helping me get it done. I am thrilled with the results already. I was happy about how it worked out, and loved getting my hands in there to help get the job accomplished.

Alignment in a couple weeks and it'll be done. Anyone know a decent place to get aligned on the north end of town?

and it was a little bit of Subie heaven for sure, all lined up lookin sweet. Sounding good too for those who went to the store and back.

Matt, now that I'm an expert spring installer I can help you out if you need an extra hand to get your springs in.

Thanks again Eric (the human spring compressor) <--told you I would. hahaha

Fisrt off, thanx Eric for hosting the gig! Good times had by all it seems. Maxx thanks for the offer, I might PM you later next week with some detail questions about the install but overall it did not look that bad. I think my buddy and I are going to make the attempt next week to do it. Hope it works out! Anyways nice meeting all of you and hopefully we can get together again soon.
-Matt
P.S. hey maxx if you still want the sedan rear sway just drop me a line or PM me.

Thanks again Eric. It was a great place for a meet, with a large turnout. Enjoy the food!

As for the next meet, I might be able to host one again in June. Probably 2nd or 3rd weekend. I'll have to check. Unless someone else volunteers.

I might be able to make the next meet as long as it's not June 21st - my little sister's getting married. The 22nd will probably be a bit rough for me, as well...

Eric - thanks for hosting! It was nice to not have to drive halfway across the world to get to the meet.

BlckRabbt - If Maxx doesn't want your rear sway, I'll take it!

Even though I didn't get to talk to everyone, it was good to see everyone.

Looking forward to the next one,

-Mark

Spanner, go ahead and do the deal with BlckRabbt if you can. I've still got the deal going with Jejunum.

Jejunum, this week, can we close that deal?

I've got the quote for the alignment at Performance Alignment in BlueAsh: $66.73

Figure two weeks after new springs should be good.

Hey Steve,

What day is the Surf Cincinnati thing? Is it Wednesday or Thursday? I won't be able to make it this week due to AP exams but I do want to see all the different rides. By the way what's the diameter on the tip of your scoobysport muffler? Don't know if I should order the standard tip or the 4.5" tip from Hayward and Scott. The 4.5 " would be like my Greddy muffler, but the size you had on your car looked pretty sleek.

Thanks,
Brian

Default Great weekend

Sorry Dale and I couldn't make it to the meet, we had a kickass weekend representing Cincy at the Carlisle Nationals in PA.

My wagon took 2nd place in the Impreza Wild class, while Dale's 2.5RS took 3rd! And another board member from PA took 1st in his WRX sedan. There was some stiff competition and a great turnout at the show.

Default Damn...

Hey Cincy natives...I just picked up my WRX about two weeks ago sucks that I missed the cincinnati meet...if anyone wants to meet up and grab a beer or do some "graceful" driving on some backroads let me know. I live in West Chester, work in Batavia, and chill around Hyde Park/Clifton, so I get around a lot! Who from Cincy has the WRB Sedan with Carbon fiber hood? I see you all the time on 275!

Here are pics of my ride, holla at me if you see me somewhere...

If you all meet up anytime soon, shoot me an email at [email protected]

BTW, if any one on here has a blue or black sedan and lives on Fairwind in West Chester, I am your neighbor around the corner.

Later

Brandt,

I'll give you a heads up once I get rid of the Greddy.

Kinda off topic, I am debating on sticking with a 4.5" tip (like my Greddy) or getting a smaller diameter tip when I purchase the scoobysport. Any opinions?

Thanks for the offer, I ordered the part from Beechmont ($19). But they want $74 to install it. They say it is a 1 hour job - BULL S**T. It comes in on Wednesday but I leave for Florida on Thur. If you are around early next week, I may take you up on the offer. I need to buy some ramps like Josh's anyway.

Thanks,

Brandt

Brian,

Let me know when you are looking to get rid of your Greddy. I may be very interested in it. Things are tight right now, but let me know.

Thanks,

I'm glad you got them mounts on Josh.

I figured out what was wrong with my air impact. Not enough air pressure. The impact needs 90lbs to work right and I had the compressures regulator set at 45 lbs.DUH

I wish it wouldn't rain so much.I might have to cancel my second rallycross this year.It didn't hardly rain for the past month and now it's going to rain all week. If it was a gravel pit I wouldn't mind the rain so much but it ain't.I'll be there this weekend checking the land and hopefully setting the course.
I know some of you Autoxers pray for rain but this time pray for very little rain for the next two weeks.

Thanks
Eric Adams

Brian-
Sorry I didnt post you sooner! I have the original Scooby Sport with the smaller diameter tip. I would go with that, its a little more stealth But not as stealth as the twin tip MRT Josh is running! I think the Surf Cincy thing is on Thursday, if Im wrong someone jump in on that...

Nick-
Thats awesome about that PA show! Cant wait to see your wagon with all the new goodies
