what? you performed? that's cool.

yeah, by looking at me you'd have no idea that i'm down with teh real hiphop. in high school my nick name was jamal. like the dude from house party, the front man for young black teenagers. i would break dance and battle, all that good stuff. those where the days.

sometimes my boys would introduce as jamal to other people and they would be like the great part is that i just wore surf clothes, talked like a white dude and didn't try to front like i was someone i wasn't...you know?

oh yeah, del is by far one of my favorite mc's.

How are you going to mix these two styles of hip hop? Immortal Technique is Wack... Everything he talks about is evil and blaspheme against God. I saw him in Escondido about 2 months ago. I don't even know why everyone likes him.

Its funny how everyone respects evil and despises good. Think about this everyone. There's a force that leads the world astray. Just examine the world and its priciples. It lead to nothing but death.

Anyway, I think LMNO of the visionaries is dope. He represents the Truth.

Peace everyone and Praise the Lord!!!

People who front and act black are never real hip hop. Hip hop isn't an image, It's a lifestyle

I can't even count how many times in High School I would swoop in on a cypher and end up serving some kid... With all the lamers afterwards like: "I saw everyone crowding around and I thought you were in a fight but then I just saw you rapping..."

Del and all of heiro are so cool. Unfortunately because i've never been up to the bay area that much I have only met and hung with them on occasion... I mostly pal around in with the LA underground crowd...

The whole heiro crowd was hugely influential to me in the early-mid 90's when I was just starting to really come of age in hip hop. They are one of lots of groups who put me on the right path in music. 93-til infinity, Step to my girl, The whole no need for alarm album... so much stuff that really set me off on the whole underground journey.

I mean what do you say to someone like that?

Especially when they are complimenting you and just kicking it... And i'm all shocked because I have such reverence for him...

Was definitely a moment.

Have you ever seen the Crusader For Justice Grouch Video?

I'm in it a few times in the BKG...

Grouch is a cool cat... He can be grouchy at times but I think Dj Darktoof (who coincidentally used to work at the basement) is more of a grouch then grouch

PSC is the coolest... He's a leo too but we just vibe.

Eligh actually lives like 2 blocks away from me

LL crew are the homies... I have a track featuring Arata thats going on my next project... His verse is entirely in Japanese as always... Really good stuff

They're another one of those groups that was very influential to me... Once I moved down to the valley I met some people who were in tight with them, and things picked up from there...

Seriously they're some of the most talented MC's around period.

Never seen that video, I'll look for you if they play it on Mtv They might play it on that spanish station with the hip hop show.

You did a song with Arata! That's cool...lmk. when it's out I'll check for it. I have a lot of Jap Rap at home....I don't know what they're saying but it makes the head nod.

That's cool you know some of LL! All of them are tight. They're like my favorite group...modern day poets. Del one of fav. MC's too. Aceyalone might be my fav. though!

I'm healthy, alive, I can't complain.

I can say Arata's whole verse but I only understand like 3 parts : 'System', 'Program', and 'Sugino Gigan' (sp) which he told me means "Next Level".... The rest is all jibberish to my untrained ear... But damn does it sound good

That guy is a professional MC.

-DE

P.S. They play the grouch's stuff on MTV2 or so I hear.... Check out the hip hop show on LATV as well... Or just get the "Servin Justice" DVD it's on there... Plus my name is in the special thanks in the credits
