Instrument Cluster Needle Color Change

I have the 02 instrument cluster, I have changed the lights to LED blue and it looks great. I also have a CD player that is blue, somewhat of a match. My HVAC is red to match the accent red on my cd player. Also I have the defi blue racer gauge that is blue with a red needle. Having that said, I want to change the color of my needles to red, preferably without removal. Since they come stock yellow, when the blue LED lights up, the needles are a bright green. So I would assume if I made them red, they would light up purple...no bueno. Unless, I take out the cluster and block the light from getting in there...if possible? Also how or what would I use to change the color of the needles without removing them?? Anyone try this on theirs or have experience? Anything will help!!

If your needles are affected by the blue lighting, it sounds like you only changed the bulbs to blue LEDs for your conversion.

We can provide a set of orange/red needles for swap or we can provide a set of 02 needles with the yellow removed.

Either way, the needles have to be removed. We can do this for you as well.

LMK what your thoughts are.

How do I remove the needles?
