Lightbulb Hood Swap

Anyone local to New England looking to trade their 2006 WRX or STi hood for a 2.5i scoopless hood? Obviously, you'd have to have the FMIC and want a 'shaved' look.

Any takers? Hood is Regal Blue Pearl. I don't care which color the traded one is. Mine is in great shape.

PM with thoughts/offers.

Bump this to the top.

Mods moved the thread for me. New here, sorry.

Basically looking for an '06/'07 WRX hood, will trade my 2.5i one for yours. This would only work for someone who wants the 'shaved' look and has a FMIC.

I know it doesn't. That's why I am saying that color doesn't matter.

Thanks though.

You see, if the two cars do not share the same color than you need to find someone who wants to paint their car, or your hood just like you do thus narrowing the number of people interested in such trade.

[sarcasm] OMG! If I trade with someone the paint won't match?? WHAT? [/sarcasm]

Yes, I am aware. This is why I'm looking around for options. This is one of the options. It is possible that someone does want to paint their car and want this hood. I already know of someone who will be doing it next year... just looking to get it done sooner.

I just really don't want to chop a hole in the hood if I can help it.

You have a point, but I'm looking to make my car mean looking. My car is my business vehicle, and I need it to match my business image. Since I'm not a vendor, I won't get into that aspect here.

Does that make sense? I'm already getting wheels, tint, some bolt ons, rear lip spoiler and a light bar up front. Just looking to make the whole image complete. I figured a nice scoop would give it that "chiseled" edge.
