We're gonna order a Sport limited with the following exterior options:

Front underspoiler
Rear spoiler
Aero splash guards
Sport mesh grille

Which would you choose?!

That might help you decide a bit more easily.

I hated the tan interior personally. This is hidden on the site if you don't have a brochure already. Good luck! https://www.subaru.com/content/downl..._IMP_specs.pdf

Here's my wife's Sport Limited in Marine Blue Pearl, we added the tint last weekend.

Options-
Power Moonroof
Body Side Molding
Front Underspoiler
Roof Spoiler
Splash Guard Aero
Sport Grille

Gave it it's first hand washing in our driveway and applied a coat of Zaino's Z-2 polish. Been using Zaino on my 02 WRX since the beginning and my car still looks great.

I haven't either. I looked all over when ordering my 2012 and failed to find any so I decided not to get it.

Is the rear spoiler an added accessory for all models? How much does it run from the dealer? How much is the mesh grill too? Thanks.

There is a small spoiler that is included with the 5-door model. There is a larger spoiler that is available. On the sedan, there is no spoiler by default, but you can buy a small lip spoiler that gets bolted onto the trunk.

I'm assuming the spoiler on saabarupp's hatchback that he posted on the 2nd page is the larger one?

the new face of Impreza drivers. these things are just gross and soft. and i'm not talking out my ass like we all do when a new model comes out from subaru..
these things are terrible. the ONLY think i like that they did here was the design/location of the side mirrors.

Thank you for your input. I think the front end of the '06-'07 Impreza looks horrendous. To each his own.

I used the advice from HERE and at 1,000 I did my 2nd long trip (approx 600 miles, 200 miles each leg) and got 39.0 MPG on the last leg. The first long trip was about 340 miles - 2 legs of 170 miles each, on the first tank of gas and with a very low starting MPH average due to who-knows-what the dealer did for those first 10 miles. Got 34 MPG on that.

Even though I did a lot of steady RPM driving, I made a point to vary it and made several "power runs" to 1500 below redline.
Thanks for the input. My dealer said it would be ok too but a long 2 hr highway drive made me nervous for some reason..All good, ive got 940 miles and will take it up to Tahoe next sunday!

Care to share how much extra that runs from the dealer? I've found the mesh grill OEM on ebay for around $250 shipped. I'm getting a DGM Sport premium in a few weeks, hoping to have it looking similar to yours

This is not official or anything, but most people have found it to be a pretty thorough and accurate resource:

Sorry, I have to ask, why would you clay a new car?

Using the clay bar is a remedial measure for fixing neglected paint with imbedded contaminants. It does zero, nothing, nada to new fresh paint. It doesn't make it shinier, glossier or more protected; it is meant to break off/out particles and hold them in the clay.

Maybe he put some miles on his car and wanted to remove any (albeit small) debris that could have gotten on the car just prior to waxing?

I'm too lazy, I haven't even waxed it yet.

I like the color of the gunmetal sport limited wheels but the shape annoys me. That flush face, no lip look just doesn't sit well with me.

I will probably never change my premium's 10-spoke wheels, but if I did I'd probably go with the original old-school Prodrive P1 wagon wheel. I prefer to minimize non-functional "styling".

That's just me.
