remembering on rons car when we used some hose clamps or t-bolt clamps on the part where it bends, to stiffen it up to prevent collapsing & keep it open smooth around the bend, that seemed to work pretty well, but yea, I def feel bad for those stock location guys and that kink

well...i doubt juan will turn it up all the way...he's scared his rods will create a MUCH larger crank vent like my ET rods did ...just do it already...we all know that you aren't going to be satisfied with it until you do

on my dom 3 when i switched from a large tmic to my fmic i only added 300rpm of lag. It was basically unnoticable on the street and the power just felt "smoother"? I guess thats how i could explain it.

I will. I am going to use the same map and try to keep all the parameters the same when I do test. I am expecting 250rpm of extra lag but I really hope to gain 10-20whp keeping everything the same. We will see |

If you put a fmic on a tmic map and just go do a wot pull, your boost isnt going to be where it was and your AFR is going to be 0.5-1.5 rich around peak boost. for the catch cans, the easiest way is just to run new lines from the heads straight to the can....which is why people utilize 2 cans. so you dont have 10 ft of lines going from each head to one single can. the problem doing this with the stock location turbo inlet is that you need to start plugging off the big ass holes..... man, you really need to find your leak before you start doing all this stuff.
we know your car has a leak right now. but if you go and put on teh fmic and 20ft of hoses, its going to make it much more of a pita to find it. |

Do what Ron said and just plug the holes. Run head vents to one catch can and run the two case breathers to another catch can. Then vent both to atmosphere using good mesh filters. That's the best way unless your motor has a lot of access crank case pressure. In that case your mesh filters will be oily all the time. Vent to atmoshere only if your speed density. If your on maf then you need to run back to turbo inlet.
