![]() I am looking at getting a set of Teins for my GC8 coupe. I have heard the Sti, WRX and the GC8 2.5rs share the same struts? Is this true? I would also like to know if the rear struts are adjustable at the lower body like AGX KYB(which I have, or do adjust at the top(which would really suck)? If so probabley have to go with the EDFC unit. I need to be able to road course with them, is the a model for street and road course, or all the same? Any help is needed(except sarcasm).

![]() yes, they are the same except the rear top hats. to use wrx ones, you would have to put gc rear top hats on the wrx coilovers

![]() you have to be specific with which teins you're getting. tein ra's, ha's, ss, flex, hg, rs, re?what exactly are you asking? no stock struts have adjustments on them. also, which sti are you talking about? why do adjustments at the top suck? the only reason they have adjustments where they do is mostly because of the shock design(inverted vs non inverted. if you're going to take them on a road course, you might as well just get pillowball top hats

![]() Well I really don't know the model design at all. Everybody I have talked to said to use the Teins. I need something from street to road course, which do you guys recommend. The rear adjustable tops, you have to remove your seat to adjust, whereas the AGX KYB can be adjusted underneath on the rear.

![]() i am running WRX Tein Flexs with EDFC on my GC coupe. the WRX Flexs have both caster and camber adjustments so they offer the GC owner a little more adjustability at a cost-you have to trim the rear strut bar to fit the rear hats. kind of a pain, but well worth the added adjustment.
personally i wouldnt have anything else..........except Tein RAs or HAs. |
