Default Sti Cams vs Wrx cams

I have an Ej257...will I see a huge increase If I switch to an sti head/cam vs my ported wrx/stock cam profile...I see a drop in my power from like 5800 rpms to redline....I know thats because of my wrx cam. Its not so drastic I think because port but its still bad. I have the chance to maybe pick up an sti head/cam pkg...is it worth it ? for like $700 or should I wait. The head/cam pkg I want is 3k...so its quite a difference. Will I be able to hold my power till redline w/the sti head/cam ?

Thanks

What's wrong with JUN/Crower/DPR cams? I'm don't know much about heads, but ported WRX heads COULD flow almost as well as JDM STi heads. Which STi heads were you talking about?

Ported WRX heads could flow more than v7/v8 heads.

They won't help that much, it's a minimal increase in lift, and the duration is the same. For 700 dollars, I'd wait.
