Default Broken Boost Gauge or Boost problems?

i just got my car back from the dealership after they put in new flywheel and my boost gauge reads nowhere near what it did.. usually it goes up to about 5psi at full throttle and about -6psi with no throttle now it goes to only -2psi at full throttle and still at -6psi sitting still... im not totally sure on this but when you turn off the car its supposed to go to 0 right? well it sits at -3 now when the cars off. Is it the guage or my engine?

i dont even know the factory boost guage reads in "mPa" if thats what bar is... psi is like mPa x1.5 or something like that so im just guessing

where does the guage hook up at? somewhere near the turbo?

You should be running ~13.5 psi under WOT. check to make sure everything is hooked up correctly still before you jump to any conclusions.

yes, and your vac should be around -20 depending on altitude. Sounds like you could have a leak in the hoses somewhere. Check out all the hoses for tears, or dry rot. I had a leak right at the base of my boost gauge line that was making read off. How is your idle?

edit- didn't see that it was reading off with the car not running...might even be a broken gauge, which one is it?

If the idle is indeed a bit rough, that would likely point to vac leak. But with the gauge reading that low with the engine off, if could even be a combo of both
