Unhappy WRX FA20DIT Stage 2 Dyno Trouble

Hi, So ima start with a listing of my current parts then go into my troubles.

2018 WRX Premium
Cobb 3 Port EBCS
Grimmspeed Charge Pipe
TurboXs Downpipe
AEM air intake
PRL EGR & TGV Delete
stage 2 Heavy Duty ACT Clutch
Perrin Pitch Mount

I have been having troubles with my car since I have gone stage 2, I got the stage 2 tuning done at my local shop and they said my air restriction was a problem for the tuning basically not allowing them to fully tune the car, stated it was the carbon build up restricting everything. I got the walnut blasting done and it still didn't fix the problem, now at high rpm on the dyno im told im getting random Fine Knock at random High RPM, they are diagnosing it to be either clogged Injectors or possible timing chain. but they said they have never experienced this specific problem in a FA20DIT before so im curious if anyone has had this problem as well or know if these are accurate possible fixes for whats happening. im not wanting to pay for a injector cleaning and it not be the problem or vice versa with the timing chain being that its such a pricy fix, any words of wisdom if someone has experienced the same thing is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a shop that doesn't know what they're doing

That's interesting. I had my '15 WRX dyno tuned with 108k miles, and never had a carbon clean nor any issues during the tuning process. I'm kind of in agreeance with Foo.

You should fill out you profile, and maybe someone can help direct you to a different shop if it turns out this shop doesn't know what they're doing.
