Can't wait to see when you do. I will also be going the same route with koni/RCE. Just a matter of saving . Can't wait for pics

A little off topic but is there a way to stop my phone from notifying me everytime someone posts in this thread. Besides unsubscribing. Thanks!

For android go to accounts & sync then turn off background data. Note it will also turn off any Facebook updates.

What type of phone? How is it notifying you? Text, email, app?

I would go on your computer to the thread you are referring too. "Subscribe" to it again but on the drop box click "No email notification".

The annoying part is that I do have notifications off. It just periodically does a mass update and I get like 20 notifications all at once. AND then my phone implodes.

Anyone ever considered lifting their 2.5i? I've been looking into raising the suspension in order to fit Outback wheel/tire sizes.

There's lots of good info on dirtyimpreza, doesn't seem very costly either.

Why would you need a lift for that?

Looking at my dad's Outback wheels/tires, it looks like it would rub all over the place.

Looks like, even with a 1" lift, the stock wheels/tires for the '07 outback will rub on the front of the rear wheel-well.

Looks like? Have you even tried putting them on your car? If he got the premium model of the outback they are probably 17x7 or 17x7.5 at most. If he has the base model then they are 16's which are most likely the same size wheels that you have. Unless you or your dad put some huge meat tires on their you should be fine.

I have not tried yet, I have to wait a couple of weeks before I make another trip back to my parent's place.

A tire size of P225/60R16 just seems too big for my Impreza, but looking now and seeing as how the stock size is P205/55R16, it's only a diameter difference of about ~2". Maybe it will work.

IIRC, our struts can take just about a 27" tire with minimal rubbing. As for width and offset, I don't know that off the top of my head.

Edit: I think that 27" tire height works with a 215 or 205 sized tire. I don't think a 27" 225 series tire would work with stock offset wheels.

Edit: I knew I had seen it somewhere.

I thought about lifting it. I still may. Apparently our year Forester strut and springs will swap completely. It should give a moderate 2-3 inch lift.

Thanks man, it definitely is very solid! It's a custom 2.25"catback with a magnaflow muffler and a HP2 resonator with a 3" magnaflow tip. It looks great and sounds good but the resonator I put on to get rid of raspyness also took a lot of the loudness away
-how do you like your kyb struts&shock/eibach spring combo? That's a nice mod list you got their
