You could always just pull the motor out, put the turbo on, and then drop the motor back in...

I love how easy it is to pull a motor from a Subaru.

No, he's just local to the Needham/Newton area. He always calls me up whenever he spots a Subaru meet, and I'll always convince him to give you guys **** when I'm not there, lol.

Are you talking about the coolant hose on the bottom of the turbo? You should never lube coolant hoses with oil. The oil will stay on the hose and in time will eat said hose. It sucks....

Spray silicone works well.

Does anyone know what grade of bolts should be used for exhaust parts ie up pipe and dp ? The Ultimate racing up pipe came with bolts that were not threaded into the flange and had no grade printed on the head. They were soft and stripped the threads off pretty easily. The stock bolts I got from Subaru were not magnetic whereas the ones from ultimate were.

Hey jared, I figured that would put threads in the up pipe.flange and thread in the subaru up pipe studs much like it is on a stock pipe.. The ultimate racing hardware is a damn joke. We keep finding issues with matts car that are very unnerving.

I go away for one second and people are buying hardware and **** at lowes. **** you all

Also for the oil return line, I hose clamp it to the turbo so it can't slip around. Always works like a charm. Also don't reuse an old one get a new one.

I have done more than most others in this forum. Unfortunately ultimate racing did not supply us with hardware that was not up to par and matts car had a rebuilt engine and when it was reinstalled corners were cut and bad parts were used.
