Personally I think there is another problem at hand. It is not hard to put in a shortblock and a seasoned technician can install those with ease. Hell the pistons and everything come installed already. I think there is something else going on causing the failure. I mean seriously 1 piston gone, they replaced the piston, it goes, then it is replaced with a shortblock and that goes south. Something else is causing the issue.
Wow you're a condescending duck!!!!

ok so since you know so much about these engines or internal combustion engines in general.... you know that there are 4 valves per cylinder and 2 cams with a spark plug in tha middle. And there's also 4 strokes of that engine, that react at tha right time by cam & ignition timing. So... One side of tha piston is tha half of tha piston that is under 2 intake or 2 exhaust valves. So if you keep blowing one side or tha other ya know what to start diagnosing... so if ya keep burning up tha intake side of tha piston in a forced induction;its probably ignition or timing or fuel related. If its exhaust side that keeps burnin up its timing or exhaust related. But you have to take into consideration tha cams. If you have one wiped cam lobe, you can put that head/cam in/on a million f ing shortblocks and you'll blow everyone. Same if ya have a faulty injector. Or something as tha mass air being calibrated incorrectly with tha ecm. tha problem is tha knowledge of tha tech and or techs that have worked on tha car and not knowing what to look for. Things don't break for fun, there is cause & affect..... They never figured out why tha first problem happened, they just half as s fixed what got broken: not what did tha breaking...

Ya dig...

How about you formulate a proper paragraph and stop talking in Ebonics and I will come back to you. My 10 year old son writes a better paragraph than you do because you missed what I was getting at

And the pissing match begins, lmfao.

I'll be up Saturday. I might have to drag the wife out with me because I'm leaving for a week come Monday. I'm sure she try to pull the "but your leaving and I want to spend time with you" line.

Well thanks to mhoerath, I finally have myself a quality jack. Let me tell ya, anybody who is thinking of getting a jack, or upgrading, I'd strongly recommend the Arcan line of jacks at Costco. This thing is a BEAST. I was so excited about it, I went ahead and jacked the car up last night and installed my TiC Fender Cowl Braces. I also recommend to anyone with a pre-2007 model to get a set of these. They are one of the those "bang for your buck" mods. Car feels a lot more stable and takes potholes A LOT more smooth. Hard to explain, but they just make the car feel so much better.

I want a quick lift jack because its really annoying having to pump mine 40 times before I get it to where I want it. Is the Arcan a quick lift?...Never heard of that them before.

Yeah I believe it is. You could get the car to the max height in about 10 pumps or less. And its a low profile jack, most of it will fit under my front lip...and the entire jack will fit when i pull up on 2x4s. Only $105 at Costco....its hard to beat.

Tomorrow is the first day of the Motor Trend's Virginia Auto Show.
http://www.motortrendautoshows.com/richmond/

Wife and I are going tomorrow night being I scored some free tickets at work. Hopefully it is a little better than last years. Supposed to be a little bigger and more classics too. We will see how this one turns out.

just cause you're holier than thou, then i bow my fair jack @5s.

i just hope anyone not wanting to be a condescending pr1ck made since of what i was "sayin", "cause" this is a "forum", not "english" class. i didn't think we were all on here to learn proper grammer...

Daniel, I found this nerdy breakdown of the X-Brace. Figured your nerdy engineering self might enjoy it.
