Default Scratched Crank Help

So i was doing the pesky rear main seal and i ended up scratching my crank. What should i do? i just rebuild the engine so i really donít want to have to do it again. had to redo rear main because i did it wrong. Is it possible to just send it? Maybe push it farther back behind the scratch? Thanks.

We use Speedi Sleeve on a few areas on helicopters and they work great. Same type of seal (garloc). If they make the right size go for it.

I am not sure how this will work but if it works on helicopters then a Speedi sleeve may do the trick. Only thing I would add is that ASF Machine makes a rear main install tool to make life easy pressing the new one in; may come in handy. One of the best tools I have ever bought.

What size did you get and where? I did this to my crank yesterday and I just seated the seal deeper and sent it, but I may pull the engine again to do some more seals and fix this with a sleeve while Iím at it.
