Default Upholstery shop recommendation

The seat in the STI has a rip. Anyone can recommend upholstery shop in central Jersey to get it fixed?

Another option would be to buy set of leather seats from newer model. Does anyone know if 15+ seats can be mounted in 08-14 STI?

Many seats can be made to fit but double check if you want your side airbags. Not all will work.

Default 15+ STI seats

Do you know if 2015+ sedan seats will fit in 08 STI hatch?
Are there any modifications that need to be done to accomplish this task?

Stopped by in a local garage, got a $250 quote to fix ripped left side side bolster of the driver seat. They will replace broken leather/vinyl piece with a new one matching color and stitching.

Is that reasonable for only half of the fake leather on the seat?

Considering you'll probably be paying way more to replace the seat with a newer model seat, yes that sounds reasonable. Most of the cost will be going towards labor.

Well, here is the thing about $250 repair of just one half of the driver seat.

I can spend $400 on a set of suade cloth STI seats from 2014 model year (that a local guy sells). These seats are black/grey with red stitches as opposed to bluish/grey seats in 08my. It's not a perfect match as rest of interior is bluish grey, but the seats look nearly brand new (B+/A- condition).

Anyone else can comment what would be a reasonable price for repair of the side bolster of the seat in the link below:
