![]() All Ford has to do is adopt something like the Emission-less Hydrogen 5 liter, 8 cyl, 455bhp new engine block designed by Toyota and Yamaha and the Muscle car will remain alive. Will they do so? Nawh, theyre going to cash out of Lithium fad until the public proves that the strain on the powergrid is too much, thus forcing companies to go back to a combustion set up. Infrastructure is behind for how much load the inner cities already put on the grids.

![]() Not out a of a Hydrogen combustion based engine. Jeez why does everyone think EV each time. But go ahead and keep belittling people passive aggressively for some random Friday reason?

![]() Hydrogen GENERATION. The act of separating hydrogen and storing is inefficient. It takes nearly twice as much energy to create as it puts out. That will stress the electricity grid. I don't care if it's combustion or a fuel cell.

![]() Some cool "easter eggs" pointed out in this video (rear window, and "Fox body style" selectable dash graphics for example. That Dark Horse badge is mean. |

![]() I am not a fan of the styling, although I wasn't a huge fan of the S550 styling, I guess I'll hold final judgement until I see one in person and when full specs are revealed.

![]() I literally see no fox body mustang anywhere in that.. maybe I am just dense. Maybe the hood vent thingy. Recall seeing that on a capri though.

![]() Looks the same. Interior is better minus the Hyundai screen that seems out of place.
Very much a trend right now of manufacturers NOT doing a whole new chassis and just updating the old chassis... Obviously due to the EV changeover. |

![]() Not digging the new look. For some reason, it looks like a love child from a Camaro and Mustang.

The wheel flares on the S650 got bigger/wider compared to the S550, so the rear quarter now looks very Camaro, so does the side profile. Headlights got shorter and more rectangular, which reminds me of the current Camaro headlights as well. Taillights/rear and front grills look mustang, but yeah, a lot of Camaro-esque design cues, whether intentional or not. Also the wing is just ugly, I'm not a fan of the matte plastic on the front, rear and sideskirts on the GT, I'd understand them on the ecoboost where the target demographic is primarily buying the mustang name... But for most GT & upper trim owners it's a second vehicle, I don't know why they would put matte on it other than to save production costs, unless they are trying to steal VB WRX sales or something. |

![]() The center stack area where the AC vents are does look a bit Fox bodyish. Apparently the digital dash also has a mode where it makes the gauges look exactly like the ones from the Fox bodies.

![]() will have to see the interior I suppose. It would be great if Ford made a new sports car. I mean keep the mustang, but something to slot beneath it. I guess the Mach-E could be that, but not really.
Ford and Chevy are kind of light on fun sporty cars. But if that is what the market wants them to make...guess the people have talked. |

![]() I heard there's a feature where the driver can turn the digital dash into layout with a fox body-ese look.

![]() Larger than a Camaro, LMAO, nah.
Then I saw the screens on the interior, oh my. This is supposed to be a drivers car, the GT at least and look at those got damn screens. Are you buying this thing to drive it or stream Disney+ content? It's just like the Golf R. Hey still 100% ICE but the interior we've already changed for EV. Um, ok. |

![]() It looks clean. I'm a fan so far.
I like good screens. No idiotic vertical screen with a boomer knob, hooray! Ford could have easily used the Mach-E's failures as an excuse to really screw up the new Mustang. I'll need to see some more in-depth usability reviews. With the right switch gear and UI it can be great.. but if they screwed it up (ie VW) it's going to suuuuck. I'm glad to see Ford abandoning some of the legacy styling. The current car is still using lines and styling cues made to remind you of the 1960s.. that damn base model trunk roundel, the crease lines made to remind you of old stamped chrome accents.. ugh. It's a caricature of itself. |

![]() At this point, its just a Modern-day S-15 Silvia with a V8 and im all for it. "If it's not broken why fix it" makes a good amount of sense as far as keeping the mustang within those current mustang prices. Car and driver clicked through the head-unit, and everything was responsive as hell. I think they did a great job. Styling is very Cyberpunk-ish and will no doubt be a grand rendition for the final goodbye of the ICE Mustang.... Unless they do this
