Default EJ20G injector o-rings and spacers

EDIT:
Part numbers down below.

Hi all,

I am looking for part numbers for the replaceable injector parts. What I found pulling my injectors and rails off is more parts than are shown in the manual. On my engine I have;

Insulator doughnut that goes on the head (listed in the manual)
2 o-rings for the injector in the rail (listed in the manual)
injector cap rubber isolator (listed in the manual)
thin nylon injector to rail spacer (NOT in the manual)
plastic spacer ring (NOT in the manual)

I will take some pictures tonight. I was hoping someone could shed a light on part numbers suitable for replacement.

Thanks,
Rob

You may want to consult sixpack subaru. He's hooked up a lot of people with JDM part numbers.

Here's the pic;

Can anybody identify part numbers that work for the 6 pieces? Numbers 3 and 4 are the ones I don't see in the various US service manuals.

Thanks,
Rob

So the 1.8 injectors you played with did not have the extra spacers (3 and 4)?

hmmm,
I don't remember there being more than 3 o-rings on the Ej20G injectors I pulled and sent to Silvialost. You might shoot him a PM and ask him about it since I no llonger have the parts in hand. The injectors looked the same as the ones you have pictured...

A kind fellow in Australia looked up the parts for an RS Liberty. Here they are for future reference;

1 16608aa020 Seal-fuel Injector x4
2 16698aa020 O Ring-injector x4
3 16697aa000 Ring-injector x4
4 16696aa000 Spacer-injector x4
5 16698aa010 O Ring-injector x4
6 16607aa031 Insul Fuel Inject x4

It's a little spendy for a full replacement, but injector fuel leaks are bad m'kay.

I wouldn't think so. I am pretty sure the ej20g injectors are the only ones that need the extra spacers. I would guess you would only need the standard o-rings that come on the STi injectors.

So would i wana use 2.5rs fuel rail to manifold O-ring, and for Inj. to fuel rail i wana use STi?
I know that there are a couple of ppl that have done this, and i just want to make sure that i get the proper parts.
Im flippin my manifold, doing STi injectors and a parallel fuel system, that im all trying to do in 5days, so i dont want to get held back becouse of wrong o-rings.

thanks
kirill

My EJ20K is using yellow top injectors, which I believe are 440cc, just like the Ej20G greytops. I have both a '96 and '97 manifold sitting on the bench in my garage right now, and other than some changes to the larger rails to accomodate the under manifold inlet, I see no difference on the little stub rails that actually hold the injectors. Let me check tonight and I will see if the part numbers are the same...

And the only RS rails I ever heard about being used for injector upgrades were '99's that supposedly take STi pink top feeds, and were used some by RS-T guys back in the day...

I thought the EJ20G greys were 380cc. Is that only on the older models?

I checked today and the USDM STi yellow tops WILL fit the 98RS fuel rails.
Thanks
