Default OK...What I knew...and didn't know

Coming from a dealers perspective...

What I knew:
  • 300 + horsepower
  • Mechanical limited-slip rear differential
  • 6-speed manual transmission
  • 17 in Gold Wheels
  • Brembo Brakes
  • Recaro "Style" Buckets
  • Front corner spoiler, rear spoiler, STi side ground effects

Things I was most surprised about and didn't know or have a clue about:
  • 2.5-liter
  • Active Valve Control System (AVCS)
  • Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD)
  • High Intensity Discharge (HID) halogen headlights

Subaru did a very good job of keeping most of the facts secret...I sure with some tweaking...375 -450 hp should be possible....Interesting enough...the US is the ENVY of the World right now with a 2.5 Turbo Motor from the factory.......I find that the added goodies are just Alot of incentive for later in life Subaru's...in general.....Yep its a good day to love Subaru's...

Oh yeah. The car is gonna be a beast. I dont see much competition between this and the Evo, other then in price. People will finally be swapping in USDM engines to their cars around the world. What a great day it is to be a Subaru enthusiast, indeed.

I did not know it would feature a rear wiper:

I can't stand them, but some people were curious.
