Hey guys. I live in Grand Rapids, and I am looking to Cobb stage 2 with a protune on my 2012 wrx. Is there a protune shop on that side of the state? Who do you recommend, etc. thanks

if you live in GR I would maybe suggest getting pro tuned by a shop down in ILL. I'll see if i can find the name of the shop, but they do a very very good job tuning the Subarus.

Myfiance's parents live on the east side, so I was thinking 2 birds one stone. Drop the car off for a tune/ visit the inlaws. But if there is nothing over ther, I'll look more into Chi.

I swear 90% of metro detroit drivers are the worst drivers i've ever had the pleasure of driving next to. I've never seen such horriable driving and i've been to the middle east and those guys make some of the drivers here seem like Ken Block.
I also had a jeep swerve at me to try and slow me down last friday night. so i tried to slow down with them, they refused and stopped on 75 north....full of traffic behind us. i was amazed. Sorry it took you so long to get to work Riz

Yes there are some crazy drivers in this neck of the woods. We have our share of middle eastern drivers here too... Chaldeans. The best is the "dive", you ride in the far left lane of the highway and when you are 15 ft from your exit you dive across 3 lanes to do so...

yep, they actually did. i laughed because i was like really? you're mad because i'm passing you in a clear lane? I have a friend who just bought a 13 or 14 impreza and has had the same thing happen to him. I've also have had people shine their brights when i pass. I really need to buy the gorilla Fog light bar for my STi, put some nice hella lights on there and get behind them.
It's just a different mentality on this side of the state. the whole "er murkin made kars rule and are gud for everything" mentality just drives me crazy.

People these days. Hella horns also? I think I might look into those lights being I don't have fog lights on mine. But that requires money...and I think an exhaust trumps it lol.

I once had a big lifted diesel roll coal on me in my little civic hatch. I looked over and saw his exhaust next to my window..heard the turbo spool and look down and said ****. Lucky my windows were up. I hate those people.

Oh that's bad ass. I love it. I support this mod. But I know the reason for a wench but why for a subaru? Except for in the winter.

Hey guys, Air Force vet of 10 years about to punch in the spring and move back home. My stomping grounds are the SW suburbs (Garden City, Wayne/Westland, Livonia, Canton, ect...) Got a 2012 WR blue WRX and will be lookin for a crowd to hang with. I used to hang out with a bunch of local car clubs (7th Heaven mostly) but have never really been a member of one. We used to cruise main street in plymouth and just before I left in 2003, Gratiot/12 mile in Roseville started becoming popular. Do people still hang out around there? Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. Glad to see some other vets in the group. See ya around
