Exclamation For Sale local: 96 Dodge Neon Red & Black

I've finally decided to do it...
I'm going to sell my project neon. It's a 96 4dr sohc black & red dodge neon. The car runs great, Starts up on one crank. It's got a new batt, and just had a tune up. Gets great gas milage. The exterior has some dings, and a custom two tone paint scheme (er, the front & rear bumpers, the hood & trunk are all black the rest of the car is red). It has about 100,000 miles on it, and needs a head gasket (most neons do). I have the gasket kit, and the repair manual. It shouldn't be that difficult of a task, but I'm currently occupied w/ my new project bike. It has a clean title (not salvage). Make me an offer I can't refuse...

if noone offers to buy it, you should charge people a dollar a minute to just beat the snot out of it with crowbars and baseball bats. (i did it to a hyundai once, for free, it was the most fun ever).

Then, once everyone has had their fun, just sell it to a junkyard for $40

it has real potential to be a good track/auto-x/ rally-x / hillclimb car...
it's light, parts are plentiful, and neon's can be really capable cars with a little bit of work (just watch the dennis's). I just have too many projects to do right now, and need to focus on the things that I'll get the most enjoyment from (the bike).

the bike is comming, and w/ the additional funding, it shouldn't have any issues being completed this century. Actually, at this point I've just got to try and fix the cracked block, that'll tell me where my next amount of cash is going... once it's running, then I may ask for some gratious help in a last ditch effort to rebuild some forks, replace a chain & sprokets, and re mount some wheels... but that's all after I figure out if the motor is going to hold, or I'm going to have to do my first motor swap.

you should just get a whole new engine on that thing. I wouldn't want to mess with a block that's already been cracked.

Congratulations, Kris !!!

Are you gutting the interior, installing a roll cage, replacing the head gasket, getting a numerically higher final drive, and/or maybe adding some hi-performance vinyl racing stripes any time soon ? This sounds like a really cool project.
