Default Ipod kit for 08-09 STi/Impreza - Labor Included!

My wife's car came with an Ipod interface installed in it...neither of us own an Ipod, so we need to get rid of it. Since it is currently installed in her car, i will need your factory parts in exchange for hers, since you have to drill a small hole in the center console cubby for the pigtail.

This kit allows you to not only play, but control your ipod through your factory stereo.

Price :$150 - Price includes labor to install in your car and swap parts from vehicle to vehicle.

These list for $175 and cost around $150 to install here at SOD. Thanks for looking

Because we both have good MP3 players...just not ipods.

I don't want to just cut it...it's like a $400 add-on at the dealer...makes me sad to waste it.

Just FYI, Subaru charges well over $300 for these (installed)...This is a Professionally (Subaru Tech) installed, Subaru part, that won't void your warranty.

But thank you for playing.

Void a warranty for the factory stereo? The installation seriously takes 15 minutes and requires no cutting or splicing of any wires. It's plug and play and you don't even need to mount the connector in the center console. You can put it in the cubby under the stereo and save some hassle/drilling.

It doesn't take an "professional" to install one of these, and considering the time and effort involved hardly makes the risk of any warranty claim substantial.

As you can see these go for around $90 used, so $85 for installation by anyone is a bit pricey.

There is also a difference in part numbers between the NAV and Non-Nav versions of these, so you may want to advertise it appropriately.

The add-on for the nav unit is the second part number..i had it for this system, but i sold the add on (microphone basically), so now i just have the regular kit. So it was advertised appropriately.

Removing your stereo and doing any plugging, or wiring ccan, and probably will void your warranty. Since you aren't a Subaru Certified Tech, they can actually void your warranty just for taking it apart. I never said it takes a professional to install one, any monkey can plug stuff in (as proven by you apparently having done so), i said it takes a Subaru Tech to professionally install one...there is a difference.

If you spent 15 minutes doing this...then i'm really sorry for your poor car.

Now go away douchebag.

GTFO or points.
