Currently, I have a Bose SoundDock and 4th Gen iPod that i've had for about 4-5 years now... I am finally about to bite the bullet on an iPod Touch, but I don't want to lose my sound dock..

I hear that the original sound dock doesn't work on 2g iPod Touch, and bose can lick my sack if they think i'm going to buy a new sound dock...

Does anybody know if there are any adapters to make the iPod touch work, or if its even true that it doesn't work?

sold my SoundDock and bought a Scandyna DockPack and never looked back...

yeah... i dont NEED a $300 system really.. which is why if i sell the sound dock, i'll go buy an iHome or something like that for whatever i sell the sound dock for... But i'd like to keep it if i can..

the $100 docks sound awful. I got the Scandyna for $225 at saks.com of all places. B&W designed speakers, 15Wx2 Class T amp.

I use the Sound dock at my office.. So its not like i'm having concerts with it. I used to use it at parties too, but lately i've been using the HTPC and surround sound for that..

it should work, I am not positive though.

The reason why I think so is because my headunit in the car has an ipod port and every ipod I tried has worked starting from a 5th gen video upto the touch and iphone.


It might not fit dimension wise though.
