These foglight covers kick major ass! Someone make them for the RS... I know we have clear covers out there, but not like this.

mesh would be a biiaaatch to keep clean. plexiglass or someother clear item should be cheaper. the big problem is the fog covers. those i have priced beleive me arent cheep. but the glass should be decently cheap.

Smile

but then the glass or plastic wouldnt clear the fogs you would need them to kind of bow out from the front fo the car slighltly around the fogs. i know what you are talking aboot. too bad you are down in texas i would be down to maybe colabirate a project fog cover with ya. plus depending on the clear plexi used on it the old fog cover could be used to make the plexi flex to clear the fog. maybe some inexpensive alluminum from a junked cars hood?? hmmmmm theres a frame all we would need is the plexiglass....

Thumbs up

let me know i am down maybe i could go to jcsports and get the dimensions of the fog covers to make a cover frame from. the plexi would need to be somewhat heat resistant from the fogs heat... i will be up i D-town this sat playing some billiards

How about you get a set of the clear V5 replica fog covers and paint an edge on them? Then spray the backside with VHT Nite-shades lens blackout. Then you don't have to fabricate anything new?

Question

how much were these covers? cost was a concern i had about the project. fog covers to cut and put a screen run well over 110$ for a good set and the clears arent cheep either are they? does anyone know how much they are? remember this is just a idea to make them, still need to get off work to locate parts to fabricate....
