Question Problems with my Passenger Side Window

For about the last 3 or 4 months my passenger side window rarely wants to work. The problem occurs when you use either switch(drivers door switch and passenger switch) the fact that either switch causes the problem leads me to believe that the problem lies within the door itself and is not a faulty switch on the passenger door. I popped the door open and made sure that window was on the track and lined up properly, and it is. So now I don't seem to understand what the problem is. I fear taking it to the dealership, because I am way past the waranty, and I know they will try to tell me it is a faulty motor. I can only imagine how much they woudl rake me for a new motor and assembly. I am imaginig that there is a problem with the wiring somewhere. I am curious if any of you guys have any insite into this problem, and if any of you have had the same problem.
