Default Ladies i have a question for you.

Im getting worried now my gf isn't as much but i am, shes late on her period for over a week now we taken 2 pregnancy tests and booth come out negative what the hell could be the problem?

One was the EPT one the digital layout and the other was some otehr brand, i tried different brands cause i wanted to be sure but how accurate are those things anyhow?

She had one last month but this month is weird.

i'm no lady.. but i've run into the same situations before.. always turned out promising b/c her period would evetually come. if i remember correctly she (the ex) mentioned that stress, anxiety, and even hanging around her girl friends with different periodic cycles would affect her own timing. wierd ish.

Chicks are late on their periods sometimes. Some months they may not even have one. The pregnancy tests are something like 99%+ accurate.

Has she been stressed lately? Exercising a lot?

I've been in that situation before and the gf was just stressed, ended up having her period 9 days late. If you're really super concerned you could have her go to a doctor and get a blood test, as I'm pretty sure they're more accurate than the home tests.

Edit: Oh and she wasn't on any bc either besides us using condoms so you can bet I was freaking out. Luckily it turned out ok

Meh, why stress initially about it...if she is pregnant now...she will be pregnant in a month. Just wait and see and don't stress until you know for sure.

They are, but usually not worth price. About the only reason a home pregnancy test is wrong is because of operator error.

It's probably still too early for a pregnancy test to tell you anything. Take a deep breath, say a couple prayers, and wait a little bit longer to see if her period shows up. There's all kinds of reasons she could be late, so don't panic yet.

Well.... there were couple occasions i didn't use a condom but i never finish the deed without one.
So i understand the risks of even though i didn't do it in side her i still suffer some risk, but its weird cause everything i did now, its what we did b4 she went to school and she was fine.

I once missed mine for 3 months and was freaking out after the first 2 weeks (mine is never on schedule). I took quite possibly all of Wal-Mart's supply of pregnancy tests and they were all negative. Then I did it again the next week. Talk about frustrating. I ended up calling the doctor and he told me to stop stressing about it and it should show up. It took 3 months because some part of me thinks gynecologists are quacks...like chiropractors.

Ok, I won't yell at you because you have enough problems already, but if you're serious about not getting your g/f pregnant then you can never, NEVER, NEVER get slack on birth control. Use a condom from start to finish every single time, or else you'll eventually be buying diapers or an abortion.

If your penis has a single drop of fluid on it that came from your body, then it could have sperm in it. Sperm makes babies. Even if you're just teasing her wiht the head, you have to wrap it up. Don't take chances with something so serious. It's obvious you're both young and want to do something with your lives, don't screw that up with an unwanted pregnancy.

Even with a condom, it can still happen. Chances are ridiculously slim, but it happens.
And even if you don't "do the deed" without one, sometimes it doesn't take that much.
"A little dab will do ya," as I saw in a movie once.

Regarding the late period, the only thing you can do is wait. My wife had the same thing happen a couple times, a few years ago. It's a little nerve-wracking, yeah, but... Just try to keep calm.

One time, when she was about a year away from graduating with her doctorate, she was studying for the second (or third?? There's four...) round of National Board Exams. Well.... 9/11 happened. They couldn't cancel the practice courses because they were so bloody expensive for the students, so everyone just buckled down and got through it. She was out there by herself, pulling her hair out with insane coursework, and then the WTC got destroyed, when we'd just vacationed to NYC six weeks prior. I have pics from the Observation Deck in July.

She was two or maybe three weeks late for her cycle. As if she didn't have enough stress. The body gets all screwed up by external circumstances, sometimes.

They're definitely weird aren't they? I mean who want to do that all day long, every day?

Wait, if she just started school then it's most likely nothing. Environmental changes can have a HUGE effect on stuff like this. It's extremely common for women's cycles to change when they have to adapt to a new environment or habit, or even if they spend a lot of time with other women. You'd be surprised by how many women have their period around the same time as their other female co-workers or family members. It's crazy stuff.

Um....

Yeah. The aforementioned wife?

Doctor of Chiropractic.

Try again. Do some research before you dismiss an entire profession. I could say the same about MDs, doing "nothing" but sticking people with needles and prescribing crap that people don't need. Or injecting vaccines that give autism to babies.

But it's not that simple. Objectivity is your friend.

I wouldn't worry too much - as long as she took the pills EXACTLY as directed.

I didn't have one last month, but then had one this month. It just happens when you've been on it for a while.

Think of it this way...taken correctly, B.C.P are 99% effective. B.C tests are 95% effective. To have both the B.C AND the test fail is pretty unlikely.

Most of the time he just stares at you with a doofy blank grin on your face when you talk. I don't want anyone that retarded messing with my spine. He's also said that a large percentage of chiropractors are quacks. So there.

Every female's body works differently, every female's body can be affected by things going on in their lives. She's probably fine. I've had late periods due to changing the type of pill I use, stress, eating habits (or lack thereof), and a ton of other things. If she's seriously worried about her health, have her go see her docter. I doubt she's pregnant though.

Just keep her on the pill and a condom on you, and you'll both be safer.

Oh and if she just moved into the dorms with a ton of other females, her body might be readjusting. When I first moved to a dorm, my period did some funny things... by the end of the year, almost every girl on the hall was having theirs at the exact same time.
