Default 2011 WRX seats into a 2012 Legacy

My boyfriend is selling his 2011 WRX Hatchback and I have a 2012 Legacy. He suggested putting his front seats into my car, but we aren't completely sure if they will fit. I was told they should due to the fact they are only a year apart, but i don't want to go through the trouble of taking them out and have to turn around and put them back in considering I'm doing this for the first time solo.

Anything helps!

It's four bolts, but it's the rear ones that change. a quick eyeball and tape measure should tell you, but I'm pretty confident they're interchangeable until 2013.

Default Sti seats in fozz

¿ Okay I have a 2011 Forester XT and they're the worst seats ever!!! I recently just purchased some 2008 - 2014 STI Limited seats I understand the front will fit ( soon to install), but what about the rears? Of course I'm sure it has to be the Hatchback model?

Anyone know what the likely hood of getting 2016 sti front seats in a 1999 legacy outback is using factory parts?

Tried putting 04 WRX seats in my 2000 obs. Bolts weren’t even close to lining up. Any way to make it work? Change the brackets somehow?

Reviving this old and cold thread, VA WRX Base here, looking to get something more comfortable for road tripping/commuting while keeping the stock seats for spirited driving. Anyone know what would be a good choice for a seat swap? I know this chassis has some issues fitting other seats, so I'm not sure what will be a good fit for it. My guess is I'll have to do a little bit of fab work and wiring if anything has heat or power adjustment. Thanks, all
