To anyone with BC BR coilovers, do you guys know if the if the preload is set already from the factory? Finally going to put them on this weekend because my wheels should be arriving within the next few weeks. I have the extreme low with 8k spring rates.

I'm constantly getting complimented on the seats and people have no idea that they're seat covers. |

I got a question regarding suspension. I pulled my fenders to minimize some of rubbing im currently experiencing. So I looked in my wheel wells and noticed my tires are rubbing the fender liner and in some place actually rubbed through the liner So my question is, is having a really stiff suspension bad for the car. I was thinking if I stiffend it up a bit I would get less suspension travel....hopefully resulting in no rubbing... Im on coilovers...obviously my lower back is gonna hate me

Stiffer suspension will put more stress on other parts of the car. Parts like; tires, wheels, and control arms, as well as increase vibrations throughout the car which can rattle everything apart.
But that's a worst case scenario. If you're not driving straight into curbs or continuously down cobble stone roads. You should be fine. How stiff are you planning to go? I think the stiffest DD I've seen for a '08+ has been 10k/12k. |

It comes in two pieces..one for the section your back is against and another that is for the bottom cushion. It basically wraps around the pieces and is held together by velcro and straps. Its a very snug fit and it protects the back of the rear seat too when its folded down.

those of you who go to the track what tire pressure do you run with street type tires (Not semi slicks)?

Roll the fenders then spray with touch up and some heavy clear enamel so it doesn't rust.

The wheels don't rub on the fenders them selves just the fender liner. The front fenders are pulled and slightly rolled. I just don't understand how some people lower their cars so much. If i were to lower it another inch the top of the fender would be laying on top of my tires. Will do on the touch up and enamel though.

+1, for autocrossing-what jourdan said.
Personally I would go with somewhere around 34psi if it was a hot day. For reference in my spec miata I set the Toyo Proxes RA1's to 38 PSI right when I get off the track from practice and after every event and that seems to work great. It really depends on what your doing as well as mother nature. Im super jealous! I would do that in a heart beat with either the 02wrx or the new brz seats but 1) im a broke college student and 2) I love my seat warmers I have now |

I assume he's doing AutoX. If you take a 2.5i to a race track, you're going to have a bad time.
But maybe he's already had some track time... Also, about the seat warmers... http://corbeau.com/products/seat_heaters/seat_heaters/ |

It's possible to change the entire seat base over but, I modified the bugeye seat rails to work in my car. Front 2 are exact but the 2 rear bolt locations are off by an inch I'm sure it's easy to move the seat warmers over to a new seat. I had to move the passenger occupant sensor over which is most likely a similar process. |
