I also have the coverking seat covers and trust me, they are worth the money. They fit perfectly and have lasted 2 years for me so far. Plus it gives the car a more sporty feel when inside esp if you get the rears done too.

+1

I'm constantly getting complimented on the seats and people have no idea that they're seat covers.

From following the BC thread on there it looks like it "should" be set from the factory, but many a person has issues with it not being set and gets a clunk from them after install.

Instructions in this thread on how to set pre-load: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1085379

Good luck with the install! Looking forward to pictures post install!

I got a question regarding suspension. I pulled my fenders to minimize some of rubbing im currently experiencing. So I looked in my wheel wells and noticed my tires are rubbing the fender liner and in some place actually rubbed through the liner So my question is, is having a really stiff suspension bad for the car. I was thinking if I stiffend it up a bit I would get less suspension travel....hopefully resulting in no rubbing... Im on coilovers...obviously my lower back is gonna hate me

Stiffer suspension will put more stress on other parts of the car. Parts like; tires, wheels, and control arms, as well as increase vibrations throughout the car which can rattle everything apart.

But that's a worst case scenario. If you're not driving straight into curbs or continuously down cobble stone roads. You should be fine.

How stiff are you planning to go? I think the stiffest DD I've seen for a '08+ has been 10k/12k.

Well im currently on 8k/8k I was thinking of buying stiffer springs and adjusting the dampening to a stiffer setting. Also the road i have to drive my car on everyday to get out of my neighborhood should of been repaved 50 years ago, speed limits 40mph but nobody has the balls to go above 25 lol. I get scared driving on it because my front bumpers has gotten caught and slightly ripped off a few times.

How are the rear seats covered? Im curious since i also would like to protect the backing of the rear seat, so it doesn't get dirty from folding the rear flat when storing my bike.

It comes in two pieces..one for the section your back is against and another that is for the bottom cushion. It basically wraps around the pieces and is held together by velcro and straps. Its a very snug fit and it protects the back of the rear seat too when its folded down.

Have het to find a answer why it does this but been thinkin the smell I get is from the fluid being hot
Hmmm... I'll check it out. I'm trying to think what tubes you speak of, but not sure.

Roll the fenders then spray with touch up and some heavy clear enamel so it doesn't rust.

The wheels don't rub on the fenders them selves just the fender liner. The front fenders are pulled and slightly rolled. I just don't understand how some people lower their cars so much. If i were to lower it another inch the top of the fender would be laying on top of my tires. Will do on the touch up and enamel though.

I removed both my fender liners when I was on coilovers. Their is some wires up their so I covered them in electrical tape to protect them a little better to be safe.

Personally I would go with somewhere around 34psi if it was a hot day. For reference in my spec miata I set the Toyo Proxes RA1's to 38 PSI right when I get off the track from practice and after every event and that seems to work great. It really depends on what your doing as well as mother nature.

I assume he's doing AutoX. If you take a 2.5i to a race track, you're going to have a bad time.

But maybe he's already had some track time...

$50 a piece at the local pick n' pull a part BRZ seats are awesome but I don't think anyone will be getting rid of them any time soon or end up at the junkyard.
It's possible to change the entire seat base over but, I modified the bugeye seat rails to work in my car.
Front 2 are exact but the 2 rear bolt locations are off by an inch

I'm sure it's easy to move the seat warmers over to a new seat. I had to move the passenger occupant sensor over which is most likely a similar process.

I think driving a 2.5i on an actual race track argument is debatable
and touche' lol.

Digital Dillon-Thats great to hear man! Maybe you could make a DIY for other people?
Personally a little bit of elbow grease and some tools is all I need but some people may appreciate it, who knows?
