Default 2004 WRX protuned by GRD RACING ~ Illinois

So about a week ago, I was lucky enough to finally get my 2004 wrx @ cobb stage 2 finally protuned. I have to say that I am very happy with the final results. The car drives soooo much better.
I can definitely feel more power, sooner and more smoother.

Current mods:

Sti tmic
cobb accessport
Cobb up pipe
cobb catback
helix downpipe

NO BOV, And NO INTAKE.

Car put down 250.4 torque, and 245.2 horsepower to the wheels on the DYNAPACK.

*Sorry for the sideways pictures... I'm at work and didn't have time to figure out how to rotate them.

Lastly, I wanted to thank the guys at GRD for the outstanding customer service, tuning and follow through on their work.
Can't wait to get my hands on more cash to continue feeding the never ending crave from the mod bug.

Looks like it spools a bit late,.... but it has a nice fat torque curve

I wouldn't say it spools late at all, especially if the lighter lines are pre-tune. Looks like a stout stage 2 tune to me. I'm sure it feels great. I never did get a protune at stage 2, I just went bigger on the turbo...I kinda wish I'd have done it to feel how the td04 behaves at an optimized level.

Whats with the dips at 4300 and 4700ish.
You should get the wheels thrown on and take it over to AMS and see how much power it really makes with a few hundred pounds of rolling gear attached.

The Dynapack has a far greater resolution than most roller dynos whether they are load or inertia based. The Dynapack has the capability to measure down to 2 decimals. What you may see is a 2-5ft/lb torque drop, which would not be apparent on a roller dyno. In fact it is likely that this car would have no dips on a dynojet.

Also you may notice the scaling isn't as stretched out as most dynojet plots, therefore leaving a better window to view for tuning. If you compare the before plot of Cobb's stage 2 map vs. GRD stage 2 tune you'll notice that the increase was very dramatic across the board and the tune is very smooth. The first plot page was just something to show the customer the base runs against the runs WHILE TUNING the car.

We wanted to visually convey to the customer an example of how tuning progresses from one pull to the next. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know and we'll gladly answer them. Thanks.
