Default 02 2.5TS to 02 WRX swap: wiring

Here are the 2 cars involved:

-2002 Impreza 2.5TS wagon, used for rallycross and track days only
-2002 Impreza WRX wagon, fully functional, bought knowing that the underbody (rockers and pinch welds) was rusted virtually beyond repair

My initial plan (if I don't hit my head somewhere and decide it's better to try and fix the rust) is to eventually swap the WRX engine into the 2.5TS. I'm not worried about anything mechanical, both cars are the same MY and having the full donor, it should be: take off from one, install on the other.

My only concern is the wiring. Do you guys think it would be simpler/better to strip out the entire harness from the WRX and install it in the TS for a complete Plug & Play? Is that even feasible?

yes absolutely use the entire donor harness. it would take less time to swap and its a factory harness, no splice to worry about.

Bump for more info from people who have done this specific swap. How much wiring did you actually need to swap over? Did you have to swap all the fuse boxes, doors, trunk, light harness too?

After taking a look at the 2002 Service Manual (which covers both turbo and non-turbo), it seems like the Front, Engine and Bulkhead wiring harnesses need to be swapped out but everything else should plug into it just fine.

All the merging left would be the 6 wires for the FPC. I'd also like to keep the heated seats but that's just one extra wire that hooks up to the Bulkhead harness.
