aahahaha oh man. i was SOL today:

went into the local GM/ac delco dealership aaaand... they only sell australian made products. ac delco australia will only sell you something they make in aussieland. they can't/won't even get something from overseas if you want it. it's aussie made products or nothing.

and they don't make the synchromesh over here!

the USPS flat rate boxes come in several sizes. we need to get the dimensions of the pennzoil bottles before we can work out what box to use.

My 02 wrx is about to hit 90k so I am finally going to try this mix. I have heard nothing but good things about it and am looking forward to a better working tranny. I have tons of problems shifting into 1st and reverse. I ordered the redline shockproof on Amazon and snagged everything else at autozone.

My one question is whether or not I should use the castrol 80w90 in the rear diff as well?

alright so medium box 2's are:

Inside:
13 5/8" (34cm) x 11 7/8" (30cm) x 3 3/8" (9cm)

so 4 bottles will fit side by side in a OOOO configuration in a medium box 2 quite well.

i'm happy to pay a finders/beer fee to anyone who will go and purchase these bottles and send them over to me.

About US$60 for that box to Oz? If Scotty or others can't, PM me. Assume you have Paypal? Or mail a intl. money order in USD?

awesome. thankyou so much. i think bottles are only about ten bucks each or so. i don't need an exact price though - if you're able to score 4 of them for me next time you're at the shop then just let me know how much they were and we'll work things out.

My 02 Wrx is at 64k and it's time for a trans fluid change. Definitely gonna go with the cocktail. Really looking forward to smoother shifts. I am planning to get the set from GrimmSpeed, they have all 3 of the oils that you need for anyone that doesn't know. In my past experience GrimmSpeed has had some of the best customer service around (always a plus in my book). I will post my thoughts about it after the change.

http://www.grimmspeed.com/1-transmission-cocktail-mix/ = not the latest, FYI. Surely, you can find these fluids in So Cal unless you are 9/10ths the way to Arizona or such; nothing against GS.

You only have 64k miles on your 02? Wow, and I thought my 112k miles were low on mine.
