Well I guess I'll have to see if I can get a used set of compmotives or something. Does anyone know of a good place to search for them beyond rallyclassifieds??

Well this is my first post with photos of my new car on here, figured this is probably the best place to put them! So sorry it is not lifted or rally prepped, but here is my 3 week old Impreza RX 2.0 manual hatch (Australian spec) where it works best - out in the bush. Coming from a FWD car I was amazed by how well this car can climb up slippery hills! So incredibly stable on all sorts of surfaces.

I'm jealous, apparently Forester struts don't work on the 99 OBS. I get mad wobbles and it's causing my trans to leak too. Back to stock...

My last hope is Forester subframe spacers, but I don't have the equipment for it and I don't have enough for a mechanic.

Our car alarmA trip I took to the Big Bend as well as a road trip to Crested Butte, CO

2" lift kit from Australia and a King Coil lift springs. MudRat bumper. KC 130W off road lights. 215/70/16 Sumitomo A/T. Flowmaster 50 series exhaust.

Meld from Austin installed the lift springs and lift kit and I got some helpful advice from Buck Rogers on the lift kit.

Running Forester tophats, and alignment was done right after. Everything is installed properly and 3 mechanics have come to the conclusion that it's too much of an angle for the axles (brand new). The rubber seal inside the trans is spinning with the axles here and there too. I still don't get how I'm alone with the problem. Grrrr

Sedan axles are slightly longer, might want to look into those. I know I am.

Sweet wagon, but you get zero points till you tell us about your suspension setup and tire model/size!

Tophats don't affect driveshaft angles, everything seems to indicate that your problem is axle/subframe related.

Sounds like your best bet is to run stock struts with 02-03 wrx wagon springs. You'll get a mild lift without crazy driveshaft angles.

HAAHA, just a teaser of course.

04 FXT suspension running 215/65R16 General Grabber AT2s. Stock WRX tophats for extra cushion.

Your Baja looks like it's ready to take on the baja 1000. I love it.
