Default do you read all the posts in a thread before posting

when you see a thread that interests you that has more than 30 posts in it, do you read all the posts before you post? i think the %-age of people who do this is super low.

how about when you post something in a long thread, do you go back and see if anyone has responded to your post later in the thread? i think this number is pretty low too.

I usually do both, unless a certain posts riles me up and I just have to click on [quote] and reply right away.

It depends on how long the thread is and how interested I am. Sometimes I will read the whole thing and other times I will read the first 20 or so and the last 10 or so and then reply. And yes most the time I like to go back and read what people say in response to my posts.

I don't even read the first.

I'm all about titular reactions.

I almost always read the whole thread before responding.

I hate reading a long thread, and coming across repsonses to old posts in the thread that are usually irrelavent to what is now being discussed or has already been asked & answered.

i try to do both too. i hate when i find something really cool that i have in common with someone, i quote them and respond, then i get no response from them. i guess it's the homophobe in me that prevents me from PM'ing. i don't want someone to think that i am stalking them because we like the same song or something.

I usually do both as well. If I posted in it, it obviously interested me, and it should do so later. If not, it's just blathering post whorage....That BTW is your word of the day "Whorage".
