Flawless, tuner was also impressed by the low latency. I really believe these are the same exact injectors the big names use but mark way up since their sticker is on it.

I guess I'd also like to chime in as well.
Spun a bearing in my 06 sti. Made the decision to make a tad more power. It has hard to find any hard evidence reviews of the arashi turbos, minus a few Evo X posts I had found (all positive though) decided to pull the trigger. I wanted something that was good for daily driving, but also had enough for up top as well. I REALLY wanted to break 400whp too. I decided on the td06 20g 10cm2 w/billet wheel upgrade. Also has the grf housing (for better fitment onto the intercooler coupler) My build consists of: Perrin wing stiffies Power stop z26 drilled and slotted brake kit Act streetlite flywheel Act xtss clutch kit Cobb front and rear shifter linkage bushings Group n poly transmission mount Perrin front sway bar endlinks Hks hi-power full catless turbo back 2013 sti tmic Perrin turbo inlet Perrin 3 port BCS Spt Intake IAG AOS street ( installed at 175,6xx) Gimmick Silicon rad hoses Flatout suspension sr52 coilovers Cobb v3 accessport Cobb 1000cc injectors Aeromotive 340lph (installed at 176k) Aem wideband Prosport oil pressure & boost gauge Tuned on 91 & e85 by Eric at Torqued performance 293/315 on mustang dyno (91 octane before rebuild) Iag stage 2 short block ARP head studs Tigwerks oil pickup Iag wrist pin and cover seal kit Tial MVS 38mm external wastegate CNT EWG uppipe and dump tube Iag top feed fuel rail kit and braided fuel lines Side feed tgv deletes Arashi Td06 20g 10cm2 w/billet wheel upgrade Perrin 4 bar map sensor Iag billet timing belt guide (red) Port matched heads, tgvs, intake manifold Ebay billet oil fill cap PTP Red turbo blanket I feel like this is the RIGHT turbo for the 2.5L.. It has what I feel like is even better daily drivability than stock turbo (it hits 3-5psi of boost before 3k rpm, and 21psi at 4k) and pulls 21 all the way to about 6k tapering to 18.5 on 91 octane. (not completely finished with the tune either) So far I'm about 1500 miles into the new motor/setup and it's been fantastic all the way so Far. I'll see if I can get a link up to for an album for those who are interested. **edit** ***link*** https://photos.app.goo.gl/TjbKNp88aBKSPzdWA Here's the link for some pictures I've compiled from my rebuild. Car has NOT seen any dyno time yet. Currently finishing my tune on 91 with Eric minehart from Torqued performance. Will be going e85 after that hoping to make ~360on 91, and 400+ on e85. Any update on your turbo? My TD05H-18g 7cm^2 is coming today and I'm probably going to delay installation until I have time to tow it to a tuner. My coworker said that I can run the Cobb FP18 map as a temp map to get to the Yimi Sport Tuning, but I'm not going to risk that (he's blown his EJ257 before from overboost) and rather have AAA tow me there instead of towing me to a mechanic.

Save that AAA tow if you can, especially if you only get 2 free tows per year, I am glad I drove myself there because I ended up using the free tow home after my ecu bricked on dyno. Almost forgot, you may need to change injector latency values also to make it driveable to the dyno. This is all assuming you are coming from oem injectors and use opensource to tune. |

I cant wait to get one of the new arashi journal bearing stock location 3071r turbos for my other ej205. Ive put 8k miles on my arashi 18g and hit 24psi multiple times a day and it hasnt shown any signs of slowing down.

On a side note about the "mysterious eBay turbo," I emailed Arashi support asking them about the CHRA manufacturer, and they responded saying that it's made in-house by Arashi in Japan. Last edited by Exit 37; 10-23-2018 at 04:02 PM. |

Seriously what fuel? I am making 350hp/340tq at the wheels on 16-18psi on my 18g. I wouldn't feel safe going any further on my 91 pump gas. 24 psi is well over 400 crank hp! Are you using meth injection or e85? I am very surprised I am making this kind of power on stock TMIC, stock exhaust manifold and stock airbox with drop in filter. I see no need to upgrade these things because I figured I was already at the limit of the oem internals. Oh and by the way turbo is working out great here too, no leaks or bad noises. |

Ethanol ***128513;. Almost 12k miles later and im currently waiting on a new clutch from south bend. The exedy stage 2 hd didnt want to hold all the torque. Started slipping 2 weeks ago so i turned it down to 20psi.
On another note i have arashi dynamics gt2835 8cm sitting on a shelf waiting to go into my other wrx. |

I finally installed my TD05H-18G and 700cc injectors yesterday paired with my Clark Tuning etune. With the preliminary map, it runs really great and full boost comes on at about 3200rpm with 70% IDC. I pulled 18psi until letting off at 5k rpm. I'm not sure what this map's max PSI is, so I wasn't going to fool around until I get a good revision. So far, so good!

Here's my 1st revision on e85 with Eric from Torqued Performance.
I know virtual dyno isn't the greatest but with only 11whp between smoothing 1 and 6 I think this is close to what it would read on a dyno. (20lbs, corrected for elevation) uncorrected it read 430ish whp https://photos.app.goo.gl/hnxuxzZcbYyxm9iQ7 |

Looks like you're running an overall larger turbo compared to mine. I'm running their TD05H-18G 7cm, but you're getting that flutter like me on the 20g. I'm gonna hit up the tuner but he'll most likely charge me again since I'm outside of the 30 day window. I'm still trying to wrap my head on how the EBCS is working in conjunction with the adjustable wastegate during mild acceleration. At first I thought I was experiencing compressor surge or the bypass valve was fluttering, but it sounds and feels more like the internal wastegate is fluttering under partial load.

Side note: I am putting wrx up for sale this week if anyone in the Reno area is interested. Price not set yet but will be around $7k. Nothing wrong with the car, I just don't love Subaru like I do Nissan and Honda.....so I am going back to my roots of lightweight and simple cars. I prefer an inline four or six with actual compression. Datsun is calling my name again! 510 with a raceport 20b anyone? |

Currently installing an arashi 20g, did you change the wastegate spring from what came installed. And if so could you give an explanation of how.
