Question Why did the 'Discsussion' thread for the SOA recommendation thread get closed?

I thought it was a good idea and would keep the real thread readable. There is a lot of junkus in there mucking things up. Just a thought.

I asked for it to be closed, with all the mocking of such an idea.

The suggestion thread appears to still be active? Maybe I am talking about the wrong thread.

I think its a very good idea to have a d thread, I was thinking the same thing. The main thread should be kept clean of all the retarded crap and the discussion should take place elsewhere.
I wanted to point out that some people are insane if they want DI diesel turbo imprezas that wiegh 2800lbs and cost less and are made of carbon fiber. lets keep it realistic and not waste SOA's time. We are lucky they are listening at all.

Agreed. A lot of people are not realistic AT ALL - making that thread more like a fantasy thread. And agreed in trying to keep that thread clean with very little discussion.

I knew I wasn't crazy. When I read that thread I just shake my head at some of what is typed there. SOA/FHI can't take that seriously, let alone get the gist of a good portion of it when people are not using their heads and reading BigElm's initial post about conducting ourselves in a professional manner, this includes being concise and clear.

It is not a fantasy thread, and that's why there will be some clean up in the SOA thread. It was made clear because if SOA/FHI is going to take anything of what's said seriously, then it should be done seriously. Everybody **tch and complains about something in every thread and we don't need it saturated in the SOA thread as well. Besides farmboy (OP) requested it to be locked so let's move on.
