I don't know what else to say but thank you. It surely has it's fair share of imperfections but hence the journey and journal.

Nice!!! I have been waiting for someone to get these and see how they are. I am a huge fan of RCE as you probably know

Have fun installing them and be sure to let us know what you think.

HAHA I saw that. Your car is on a whole other level. I hope I made the right choice. Collectively, leaving max speeding rods behind and a few other bits I think my revamped setup should be more balanced.

I've never been in a properly setup car on KWs, so naturally I've always avoided all the popular brands. Sadly, that was based on poor experiences. My previous cars were always setup on the rigid side (preferred feedback). After cruising the bug a few times with the wife, her input lead me to find the middle ground between comfort and sport. Doing away with spherical arms and endlinks, and going all poly/rubber. I almost went w/ Group N rear hats (comfort minded) when I came across a post where the member said the NVH is not much different. I'll know soon enough as some more components are set to arrive w/ in the next week or so.

Top of the morning gents,

I was too tired to post this yesterday, but after waiting 16 days the back order has arrived. King has moved subrau bearings to the back burner to catch up on honda bearing orders. Fresh rods from SCAT (rated at 800HP), they were sold out too, and lastly machine shop sorted the head issue. The spring compressor wasn't setup for "heavy duty," I choose not to wrap my mind around that explanation as it's trivial. Heads are back.

Rear wheel bearings have arrived. Front LCAs and bearings are still on the TDL. I will be saving the old hubs to convert the GC to 5x114.3.

Well for the most part, todays updates are in line with future plans of a suspension revision. All that's left is purchasing a pair of knuckles and or front hubs w/ bearing. The spare knuckles will be used for the GC 5x114 conversion.

Bars of sway

and this was a must have, my ebay driver visor cracked mid drive. The passenger was lifting. It didn't matter how well i installed & re-installed them, they just couldn't take the daily 85mph winds.

@D-Rodman - Thank you sir!

I'm stoked about this update. Just happened tonight. Can't wait for summer....so many items that I was saving will be installed, now that I've found these, it'll be great to see the "second look" take shape. The wait is over, so to speak.

Love all your builds but just can't get behind those flares. Really ruins the car imo

Flares seem to be the rage, some look better than others. I actually like the op’s cars a lot.

Thank you. You're more than entitled to it. If you ever get a chance to read through the thread I touch the subject. The added maintenance of flares in the form of tires and wheel choice really restrict freedom. The stresses on drivetrain in the name of stance (at this point) aren't worth it either; not at a street level anyway.

Long story short, I can say I learned more about me

Mr.D, Thank you.

I've been a fan of aggressiveness all my life, so while I enjoy it, I don't in the same token. Would I change it? not at all. This was my vision from the day I purchased the wheels w/ no car to put them on. To see that vision manifested was enough. I can refine future builds with the sum of all experiences.

Update: tired of being thug'd out and having a trail of smoke following me to a stop light. Originally, I had planned to "inspect" an exhaust leak, but when I touched that half-moon and it fell into the VC....I had no choice but to stop being lazy and do the service it needed.

last Thursday, new VC gasket went on, couldn't find a 3 bolt gasket locally, so I made one (https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c...al/cmt0/c15180 = JUNK). It blew out 24hrs later. Placed my order w/ RSD and was able to fix it properly today.

fixed & filthy...wife & kids came to visit

Had the car tinted last week, chose nano ceramic 55% for all windows..... I enjoyed every moment of it. Today, it told the most obnoxious Knock Knock joke ever.

RIP RIP Motor #1, turbo #2.
