Sooooooo Yeah.

Oh yeah I forgot: Sedan!
You're right. But I'd take what the STI has overall over a WRX any day.

0-60... dragging much? If so, then you would never keep the stock tune anyways.

Way lighter... 221lbs (compared to the base WRX weight), yeah thats a good difference, but you take these 2 and get them tuned stock, the STI will now blow the WRX out of the water.

Base curb weights- Base WRX- 3174lbs/ WRX Premium 3229lbs/ STI- 3395lbs
Now, I'm going to go ahead and assume thats the basic rims on the STI, so with the BBS you're saving a tad bit of weight. (If you're into the BBS thing)

Hatch/ sedan... it's really what the person likes more. If I liked the sedan type of car more, I would have kept my 06 STI. Definitely not get a newer WRX. I wasn't a fan of hatches before, but I have been a huge fan of subaru and rally for a few years.

Let's not forget about that awesome transmission the STI has.

how did you remove the factory grille? I cannot figure it out, the four tree clips are easy enough but something is holding it from the bottom as well no?
thanks.

what he said. Unless you have skinny hands, you have to drop the bumper. Not that hard to do; poppets in both wheel wells, 4 along the bottom of the bumper, and 4 on the top.

Actually i also found out that if you take off the top clips, and the top clips to the piece behind the grille you can wedge your hand in there with a screwdriver and take out those 4 screws, and take them out forever they are useless

is it just me, or does the rear bumper look like it was re-sprayed?

just to be honest, i'm not really feelin the gold wheels on the mostly stock car in that color. it looks a little better now with the spoiler.

I'm crazy jealous of your headlamp washers, power folding mirrors, and rear fog though.

and the new rear spoiler looks awesome. just get rid of that chrome strip!

Thanks for the comments!

I don't like the when chrome strip is painted on the silver and black models...

The wheels where included in the deal but when there will be grey alloys!
