This is like the TPMS light. When it's raining, it will just be constantly on, so people will just get used to ignoring it. And I'm sure, another doorway to liability and lawsuits.

I mean... something like this could certainly be useful in preventing the massive car pile-ups from black ice, heavy rain, etc, but why the tires? This would be much better integrated into a vehicle that has speed sensors on all axles.
