Well, the worst that could happen is I find out that I forgot to tighten something and not make it to work tomorrow. Otherwise it wasn't the dumbest install I've ever done.

Wasn't too happy about having to cut out my stock endlinks. Even with PB Blaster soaking all week, both sides bound up really bad to the point that the 5mm Allen key stripped. Only way out was to cut.

You're nuts. Lol.

Glad to see you got your parts so quickly. Normally there's a bit of a wait for the Bilstein's.
it makes me nervous wrenching in sub freezing temps. I worry about the integrity of the hardware.

Looking forward to hearing your opinion of the ride.
Did you set these to stiff or soft? (I'd recommend starting with soft).

I was also surprised about how quickly I got everything, I guess it was just good timing.
I've been speaking with RCE back and fourth for a couple weeks making sure the setup would be the best combo for the type of driving I do.

When I installed the rear bar I initially set it to soft and notice a big improvement already. After talking with RCE again today we've decided to run the rear on stiff and front on soft. He thinks it'll be the best setup for the type of back road commute I have.

It'll be tough to give an honest opinion while driving in the snow tomorrow but hopefully by Friday this snow will pass and give some dry roads.

Have any difficulty getting the rear KB endlinks straight with the RCE sway? I remember thinking my 22 whiteline rear sway and kb endlinks was going to be a breeze and it ended up taking like 2 hours...with a lift. Kept bumping against the spring perches and/or was not straight enough for my liking. It was nice once I found the right combination of spacers though.

Yeah, I ran into the same problem and really didn't like how the endlink had to be bent towards the front of the car to use the soft setting on the bar. That's what I originally called RCE about this morning to see if I did something wrong but he says it totally normal and shouldn't rip the bushing out. I did however switch to the firm setting which allows the endlink to sit perfectly straight using the thick spacer facing the rear and small spacer towards the front.

Also, when I put my stock suspension back in over the weekend, I was aware that I may have clearance issues with the rear bar. I ended up turning the whole shock 180 degrees and it gave me the most clearance possible.
I have about an inch of clearance with the suspension unloaded.

Playing with a little photoshop this morning to test possible wheel colors for next year. I love the white but I was thinking I need something obnoxious for next year, lol

Any preference in color?

Why on earth would you want to go go obnoxious!?
You may want to Photoshop orange, It makes for a nice contrast to white...
Of those above, pink & yllw are my fav!

Wow man. Great build! I am in the same boat of getting coils or the spring/strut combo. Car is used for daily use and occasional spirited driving. Trying to decide what's best for me. Might be going the same route as you with the bilstein struts and springs with sways.

Grabbed some shots of the car on the new suspension. I have nothing but praise for the RCE/Bilstein setup on their black springs.

Their front and rear sways make the biggest difference but the ride height and quality of the dampeners are well worth the price!

More install shots coming up soon!

So far I couldn't happier. The install was really straight forward and went back together like factory. The qualities of the struts are super solid and as you can see in one of the pictures, it's about 3x as thick as the stock front shaft.

For being just as low as my coilovers, the ride is completely different. I feel like I have full control over the car at all times where with the coilovers they were great on flat roads but uncontrollable when it got bumpy.
What I like most about the new setup is that for normal everyday driving, it feels like a normal suspension and rides almost stock (except for being at proper height). Once you pick up speed and dive into a corner, the springs stiffen up and the dampeners’ start soaking up any road imperfections while keeping your tires planted on the road. The sways stay quiet and keep the car level as the body roll is kept to a minimum.

The sways I have the fronts set to soft and the rears set to stiff (a recommendation from Myles at RCE) that seem to work perfectly so far.
The rear spring perch is set to the middle setting to give the car a flat stance with no rake towards the front. It was recommended to give it a rake but the look of the car wouldn't be sitting right in my mind so I went flat for the time being. If I add some weight from a sub-woofer in the future, I may raise it up a notch or two.

I'm looking forward to putting a coupe miles on the car this weekend as I will be taking a trip to New York for the Easter weekend. Fingers crossed that it remains awesome the whole ride!

Couple more shots from the install

I wish there was a wheel that I could run that looks the same without having to run the spacers. I love the way they look but hate that I have to use these HUGE spacers to get it that way.
