My bad, I should have said lightest coupe. In 95 and 96 the Brighton was the base model. I can understand the A/C and airbags adding weight, but I'm wondering just how much more the OBDII adds.

That's the price you pay for having your car look so baller. It's a fair trade off.

I keep looking at it trying to figure out if you could make it look presentable with enough bondo and cutting but it appears the answer would be a resounding no.
