i emailed japanparts.com on here about the interior backorder and he made it very clear the ETA was at least 4-6 weeks and he basically knows nothing else. I want this interior badly along with a full spec-c black interior. But for all that cash I could get sick guages, sway bars, coilovers. Tough call

I've ordered all the bits as well, inc. the shift boot ring
I already have an all black STi interior, but as my car is WRB, have elected to keep the blue carpet.

I am still waiting to place my order. I really want to see if it will match with my WRX interior or if its two different shades of black.

Never mind. It wouldn't because there's no place for the recirc lever.
i think they also have some pieces for the older knob style HVAC controls found on the pre-05 WRXs.

I received my kit from Japanparts about a month or so ago. It's installed, and looking great. I'm working on getting some pics very soon.

Please PM me when you've posted the pics; I think you'll agree it's a great looking mod. and there are lots of NASIOC members interested

Not a fast-moving item at Subaru JDM and this Set can take as long as 4-6 weeks; we can't keep these on the shelf long enough to say we Stock 'em

Best!

Here are some teaser pics until I can take some higher quality pics. I think this is by far the best cosmetic mod I've done. It brings the interior together!

How does it feel? I've heard it's rubberized... smooth or textured?

You need the STI shifter trime and a Kenwood in dash dvd player.... the would be HAWT!

Here are some from my install. Two different shades of balck, but go well together. Not the best quality of pictures. If people were wondering complete swap took 30 minutes.

I agree. I was looking on japanparts and couldn't find it. I would think it has to be available but just isn't listed.

Looks very good. I'd consider doing it if it weren't $300.

Thank you for the part list!

I ordered the ash tray since I can't source anyone to make mine in cf like the rest of the dash I have had for years... I've used the stock silver-ish color and it never really looked right. Hoping this black s204 ash tray looks better! Black should blend in way better I think.
